These made my dog vomit - twice. Must have been the "crude ash" listed on the back.
I've bought these several times for my dog and he LOVED them. Until this order.First, instead of SuperCan the similar looking package says MMM-AZING, so OK, I thought, they changed the name. Everything else looked the same. Then I opened the package. The tracheas look and smell different. I gave one to my dog, he enjoyed it as always, then threw up. I didn't give him another for several days, but when I did his stomach began gurgling in an ominous way tho' he didn't vomit this time. The back of the package says "all natural, one ingredient....zero additives...." but a sticker on the packages lists "crude ash". I'm no expert on anatomy but I don't think any mammal's trachea naturally includes ash, crude or otherwise. I will never buy these again.

Dogs love em, but STINKY!!!
My dog goes nuts for these!! She immediately flies through the doggie door and disappears for an hour and then comes back empty-handed... Until two weeks later... When a foul stench overtakes the house and I look down and she is proudly gnawing on the stinky, slimy, half chewed trachea that she had buried specifically for this moment in time, as a little treat for herself. Boy is she confused when I jump out of my chair and wildly start flailing my arms and yelling at her to take that nasty thing outside, lol!!! But alas, her happiness is my happiness, and these put her over the moon.WARNING: Just make sure to CLOSE THE PACKAGE SECURELY (with the conveniently included Ziploc closure), otherwise, the odor that will permeate your house will confuse you for the first few days, trying to figure out what it is (Dead rat? Urine?) and where it's coming from (The walls of the house? Under the house?) And after you've completely scoured all possible locations for anything disgusting, you'll happen to walk by the open bag and instantly realize the error of your ways.If you buy these for your dog, then your love for that animal is unquestionable. For scent, it's 5 stars for the dog, and 0 stars for me, lol!!!

These are gross and they reek. OMG, they smell so bad.
I bought another brand of Tracheas for our dog a couple months ago and he loved them so decided to buy more. Should have looked up the previous order instead of buying these. The others were clean and relatively scent free. These are GROSS. I have a really strong stomach but taking one out of the bag almost made me puke. They smell sooooooooo bad. They are greasy and leave a residue on anything they touch. Dog likes them but unlike the others he cannot eat them in the house. Will never buy this brand again. Reordering the others and tossing these as soon as they arrive.

Great for Molar Tartar and it's Bacteria
I purchased these to help removal dog's heavy accumulation of tartar on his back molars. His tartar resembled cement. There was no smell and they did an excellent job of removing the tartar. He now has bright, white, clean molars and his horrendous bacterial laden breath is gone. Before I stumbled upon these I was brushing his teeth every night and using a dental gel and liquid on his water, with low progress. The beef tracheas were a bit too large for his mouth but he worked around it. I found lamb tracheas more suitable for his mouth. I supervised his chewing and found the beef tracheas did not break, nor splintered. My 19 pound terrier had it gone in about 8 minutes and appeared to enjoy every minute. He had no adverse effect upon ingestion.

All natural, long-lasting, good value.
All 5 of my dogs loved this treat. They last a long time and after working on them a while, they all found a place to hide them until next time. # 1 - All natural; # 2 - my dogs loved them; #3 last a long time; #4 -good value. I've already placed another order. It's one of those treats I'll always keep on hand and they are especially good for those times when you need your pet to be occupied! As others have noted, they have a peculiar odor, but it's not intense and once out of the bag the odor dissipates very quickly.

Great for Dedicated Chewers
These tracheas are tough! A twelve-inch one will last my 35-lb terrier mix a good 30 minutes. They’re really helpful when I need to her to stay calm and focused during a meeting. Their tube shape means you can put homemade filling or treat paste in them. You can also cut the 12” ones in half if you’d like to give a smaller chew. You’ll need a knife to get through the thicker ones in the package. They _do_ vary widely in thickness inside a single package.Drawbacks might be the smell and sound: They have a powerful odor when you open the bag, but unless your dog is chewing them directly next to your head or in a car without the vent fans on, it’s not that noticeable. I actually appreciate the odor-in-bag, too, as I seal non-animal-part toys in the bag to make them more appealing. Do be aware that their hollow shape may amplify the chewing noises so if that creeps you out, maybe pass on these. We will definitely be buying more!

Our new "Go-to" Treat!
I have four saint bernards, and they are hard chewers but yet they have sensitive systems. I DO NOT EVER give rawhide because of the chemicals and the intestinal dangers it posses. These tracheae made a nice alternative and have the glucosamine and chondroitin that my dogs really need for their bones! They do have a low odor but nothing extreme. It took my dogs about an hour to completely chew down and eat the entire trachea. They were very happy with these treats. They are really affordable by the 20 pack (less than $1.50 per trachea). I will be a repeat customer.

Almost killed my dog
First off, OMG, these things STINK so bad I gagged every time I opened the bag. Second this product almost killed my dog. Towards the end she chewed and the last .5 inch got stuck in her throat and got stuck around her tongue. I had to pry it out of her mouth while she cried and bleed all over my bed. Poor thing, but thankfully it was some thing I could fix and not in her intestine or stomach. Do not order.
