Simple fix
I run these on the amp powering my 4x6's I tried passive bass blockers, but still couldn't push those little speakers very hard without them complaining. Pop a couple of these on the amp, and now they crank out lots of distortion free highs.

Added into system, horrible result. Sound was totally messed up along with reduced output.
