Adorable, sturdy grey crib
I don't know what it is about Jenny Lind beds, but I've always loved them. When we found out we were expecting after thinking we were done having babies, I knew this was the style I would get. When I found DaVinci's cribs, I was drawn to the cute colors - the pink, yellow and blue are adorable! I particularly liked the "fog grey" color, however, and that's what we decided to get. We bought the matching DaVinci six-drawer dresser. DaVinci Signature 6-Drawer Double Dresser, Fog GreyThe crib is very easy to put together - much easier than my previous cribs. It is also very sturdy in spite of its lighter appearance. I left the casters off because I don't like them, but it's easy enough to move around without them. The finish is smooth and appears durable, and the color is just perfect. My ONLY complaint is that the brackets that attach the mattress springs connect on an angle, and this causes the corners of the bedskirt not to hang evenly. It's not super noticeable so it wasn't a deal breaker. You can see what I'm talking about in the photo. All in all, this is a cute, sturdy crib at a reasonable price. We're very pleased.

beautiful/sturdy
This crib is exactly how it is pictured. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I did a lot of research and really appreciated other people's reviews. I love the classic frame of it, looks like an actual crib! not a big or bulky furniture style that seems to have been the trend. It was nice and easy to put together. I love the health aspects of the New Zealand pinewood and no-toxic paint even though I believe it's made in China. I previously bought a barely used organic mattress off criagslist, fits perfectly. We are first time parents, waiting for baby to arrive. If you are looking for this style of crib, you can not go wrong with this purchase and what a great price compared to others I've seen! It's just not necessary to spend that much on a crib, and it seems these days people are overspending on items, especially when it comes to having babies. Let's not forget they grow out of them!! I think this crib will also have great resale value. The only reason I did not buy a used one, was b/c of the drop down side factor. I figured, especially being new at this, better safe than sorry.

Nursery centerpiece!
I could not love this crib more! Our nursery theme is colorful and vintage and this crib could not have been a better fit. It's the centerpiece of our nursery. It was easy to assemble and took my husband and I less than 10 minutes. I wouldn't say it feels solid, but it's plenty sturdy. We get so many compliments on it. The price is more than reasonable for this great combination of function and aesthetics.

Love it! Daughter is 2.5 and it’s still great
I love the style and color of this crib! (Lagoon) Our house was built in the 1930’s, and I feel like this suits our house and style perfectly. My daughter is 2.5 and has been using this crib (consistently) since she was 6 months old and moved into her room from the Pack ‘N Play next to our bed. And she sometimes used it for naps from 0-6 months.Best of all, my daughter loves her crib!I do agree with a lot of the reviews that the long side bars are NOT as strong as I would like. Honestly, they’re a little wiggly. I’d pay extra for then to be more sturdy, like the thicker short sides. But it hasn’t been an issue for us. And, my kiddo has definitely been a bouncer for at least a year - just for a minute or so right after I get her out of her sleep sack. Also, we never used the wheels. It seemed like a bad idea to me. And the darn WARNING LABELS were huge and obnoxious… like everything nowadays. But I was able to remove them with elbow grease, a hair dryer, and some rubbing alcohol. But it took time. I guess I’m still a little annoyed about it after 2.5 years. 🤣I’m sure I *could* have transitioned her to a toddler bed a while ago, but she’s sleeping great and doesn’t try to escape at all… so we’re not messing up a good thing at this point. Maybe we’ll get the matching toddler rail or take off the one long side (per instructions) when we need something different than the crib.
