Q: Will this slap band work on a thick yoga mat, 1/2” thick?

My mat is 3 mm thick and 68" L. When rolled it is 3.75" diameter. The band is 19 3/8" L. Wrapped around my rolled mat so that it just touches without overlapping, there is 7" of extra length. If you allow even 3" overlap max, there is still another 4" for a larger diameter mat. So compare these figures to your rolled mat. Hope that helps.

It does not stretch and fits up to matt rolled into a 17-18' circumference.

I have an ultra thick mat and it only goes around half way. But it still holds it in place. If you have a regular thickness mat it should go all around.

I am not familiar with your mat, however, in my review I dealt with the dimension issue of mat length, thickness, and the length of the slap band.
