The Year of the Dogs

This book is full of gorgeous photos and delightful stories that are so touching and entertaining. Even though each story is short, making them quick and easy to read if you have just a minute, they are so well written that you feel like you were there meeting the pup yourself. The paper used to print this book is of the highest quality, making it a lovely gift for all of the dog lovers in your life. And, of course you will want one for yourself. Read it cover to cover or one at a time if you only have a moment to spare. I absolutely love this beautiful book.

These photographs are not only beautiful, but they capture the individual personalities of each dog. Commentary is not riveting, and really not needed, as the photographs stand on their own.

I received this book, the World of Dogs, for Christmas last year. The photos were great and I just flipped through the pages, until one rainy day I took the time to read the pages. What a charming book, and as a dog lover, I read every page. This year I gave one of my close friends this book. Her family also loved it. The cover makes an attractive coffee table book, but please take the time to read every page!

Great quality pictures!

This book was beautifully created. The pictures are captivating and I was so entertained by the writers story telling technique. For me, I’ve never enjoyed a photo book of dogs to this extent. I didn’t want the book to end. I wanted more! Highly recommend 😇

The photographs and stories are wonderful. Have out on our coffee table and have over half of the book. Each story brings me enjoyment.

I am a big fan of Vincent Musi’s work. He captures the beauty and character of each dog in his photos. Pair that with the short narratives ripe with dry wit and eloquent vocabulary and you have a book that is a joy to open and read through again and again.

I originally bought this for my daughter in law. I loved it so much I bought another one for me!

Cute coffee table or even bathroom book

I bought this for my 86 year old Dad who has dementia. It was great to look throgh the really characterful pictures of all the dogs. I read out the profiles the photographer had written about each one.I was so pleased, Dad really engaged with it and he rarely does that with anything really now. Obviously, he loves animals and particularly dogs.. I loved the book and found it really funny too.

This is a fantastic book ! Everyone should get a copy..whether you are a dog lover or not ! The photographs are beyond beautiful and the accompanying write ups even better ! I cherish my copy of the book and have gifted them as well !
