The Rose That Blooms in the Night

In the morning, I love to do meditation and yoga. I have added reading one poem every morning along with my normal routine. It is perfect for a daily affirmation and grounds me into the present moment. I will definitely be purchasing more to share with girlfriends as the poems are empowering and centering. I hope more people find this book as powerful as I have to be able to spread love and positive energy. ❤

This is an amazing poem book that helps you live deeper into some of your own experiences through the medicine Allie gives with her words. I feel rejuvenated after reading her poems!

If you like modern day poetry, this is an outstanding read. I loved the art mixed in with a collection of poems. Each individual poem felt like she spoke into my soul, and this book made me feel things. I read through the whole thing in one sitting, but it is a book I will return to time and time again. Each poem has so much in them, that I feel like I could meditate on one poem at a time and just let the words water my soul. An excellent read, 10/10 recommend.

I first saw this book while shopping in Barnes and Noble. I NEVER purchase poetry but for some reason stopped in the section. I read a couple of poems from this book and knew it was perfect as a gift for my daughter. I brought it home and started reading more and right away purchased 6 more copies for myself and my nieces. The poems are geared toward women and topics range from love, to being your own person, to social media and more.

I LOVE THIS BOOK. Each poem is a thought provoking, soul soothing, stand alone reflection of both Allie's inner life and today's society. She has her finger on the pulse of what matters to all of us, regardless of age. It is a beautiful read and the perfect gift to someone you love. I have read it several times and always find a new meaning or aha. Thank you for sharing your love and your heart. I hope this book finds its way into every beautiful heart.

If only I could string words together as beautifully as Allie is able, I would choose the perfect ones to describe the depth and soul in this poetry book. Unfortunately I can’t, so I’ll just highly suggest buying it to feel for yourself <3 thank you for sharing your light, Allie!

Ich liebe liebe liebe dieses Buch! Habe es von einer Freundin empfohlen bekommen und bin schon nach den ersten Seiten ganz sicher gewesen, dass dies mein allerliebstes Buch sein wird. Ich bin eigentlich kein Poetry Fan, aber Allie bringt die emotionalsten und schwierigsten Themen so auf den Punkt - es geht teilweise mitten ins Herz. Highly recommend!!
