These are a great value. Note the size, because they are not very big. They are just right for small items though. Each bag is different, so there is a nice variety, and they will work well for all sorts of occasions. I used the purple stripe and the yellow stripe to give my niece and nephew each a small Easter gift. It made a lovely seasonal presentation. I'm very happy with them.

Great value for money. Terrific assortment of patterns, cheerful bright colors, a bit thin but well made. I love having these on hand to for instant gift wrapping!

After some not so glowing reviews, I decided to take my chances with these bags and they worked out great for us. We used these for thank you gifts and were able to fit a decent bit of stuff in them. They aren't the thickest bags but they actually took a good bit of handling and some even got a bit smushed and they still held up great. Really the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because I didn't love all of the patterns but for the price I didn't mind. Overall I was happy with them!

Normally, I check the measurements of items in the product details and sometimes even use a ruler to provide an accurate 3D assessment, before ordering and I did that in this case. Somehow, the information didn't translate properly to the spacial area of my brain, I guess, because these bags are just plain smaller than I had expected. I would say the size is more small than medium, but maybe that's just me. I had several birthday gifts which I was fairly certain would fit, however not all of them did. I do wish Amazon had more selections for a single order of gift bags in assorted sizes. Despite the above, I'm still pleased with my. purchase.In the event it helps, here's a very careful measurement of the bags: 8 3/4" in height x just under 7 1/2" in width x 3 1/2" in depth (the amount of expansion, when unfolded).

I wouldn't call these bags "medium" - they are fairly small. Though the actual dimensions are noted, I think calling them "medium" is misleading. I was surprised when I saw how small they were. They will not hold a lot - a tightly folded t-shirt and a piece of tissue paper would completely fill one of these.There were 6 different pattern-color combos in mine. The pattern I liked least was included the most (4 green and 2 pink with the one pattern). Other than that, they are fine. Not the prettiest of patterns, but they look nice enough and will be great to have around for small gifts, like a candle or a watch.Also, they were supposed to come by Christmas but didn't arrive until the 28th, though that has nothing to do with the quality of the bags.***When I purchased them the cost was $6.88. I just noticed that it is $14.75. For this higher price, I think you can do a lot better.

These are nice little gift bags to always have on hand. Nice colors and variety of a few pattern prints. Dollar Tree tissue paper, a gift and you're all set ;o)

I needed some small bags for birthday gifts and these bags are just right. Well worth the price I paid for the and a definite recommend.

Not medium size at all. These are small. If I wanted a small bag I would have ordered small bags. False advertising. Now I have to go buy gift bags that are actually medium size. Don't buy you will be very disappointed!!!!!!
