Reliable flea collar. Lasts the time it says, doesn’t give my pup any skin or other issues (no itching) like some topical or internal products have so I feel it’s the safest and has less chemicals overall. Also the least expensive of all options.

Got its new

Just got a new puppy a few weeks ago. Since it's been so mild here in PA we're letting her go out and run with her big brother. Critters pop up with very few warm days. I wanted something to protect her until she grows a bit more. It definitely has a strong citronella smell so hopefully that works. I also noticed it has a powdery film to it that stays on your hands if you touch it. If you have youngin's around I'd pay attention to them so they wash their hands after being around the puppy. I don't know what the powder would do to kids. So far so good and Hartz has been around a long time.

I bought several of these as an aid to the treatments we were already using. They weren't secure they were laying in my yard 3 hours after I put them on. I put them back on and they helped for 2 days before they completely disappeared. I know they probably got them off, but I've never had this issue before, my female has skin allergies and she broke out around the bottom of her neck. Idk but I wouldn't use my money on these again.

After becoming fed up with the equally worthless Advantix I was hoping this collar would work as advertised. This product is a miserable waste of money. My small 10 lb dog is well maintained and had few fleas to start with. This collar provided zero results. Fleas were not negatively impacted one iota. This product is cheap junk. I had hesitated to go the veterinarian prescribed flea control route due to the expense but finally stepped up and wish I had done so sooner. The veterinarian applied a $38 dose of Bravecto. Within 48 hours my dog was 100% flea free. I was told Bravecto provides 90 days of protection. If this turns out to be true that will be $38 well spent. Makes me nauseous thinking of all the money I wasted on this collar and a years long subscription for the equally worthless Advantix II. More importantly my dog suffered needlessly. Zero stars for the Hartz flea collar. Sure, it only cost $3.64 but every cent was wasted. Absolute junk.

I absolutely love this flea collar for my little dog.... It works great it lasts a long time plus you can't smell it.... I know it's working though .... He doesn't mind it at all and the best part it's waterproof & no fleas! Thank - you so much for making a great inexpensive product.... Mrs.M.L.☺️👍
