Good price, a bit heavy
I am happy with this knife for the price. It's a little heavy considering its small size, and I think the craftsmanship could be a little better, but it's an inexpensive knife that will serve its purpose. If you are looking for an inexpensive workhorse, look no further. If you are looking for a sleek blade, keep shopping.

Podner, this a good one.
I have l over fifty years of hunting done and I can say, this one to take along. I like the gut hook to avoid nicking something inside while field dressing. That big curved sweep is great for easy skinning too. You will be happy with the knife and the price. Good Hunting.

Update, Nov. 13'; gutted and skinned a doe and then a buck 5 days later. I can still shave off my own hair with the knife. This knife has worked better than I thought. The belly of the blade makes skinning warm or cold a breeze. Buying another one just to add to another pack!Solid feeling knife. Haven't skinned or processed anything yet with it, but from knives I have used, I can foresee this one working great! Gut hook pretty standard but the belly of the blade I know will be great for skinning. The only reason I give this a 4 star is the handle is a 2 piece construction (probably wouldn't fall off/break, but you never know what the world can throw at you) and the metal isn't anything great. I know I will be resharpening this knife quite a bit, but for the price, this is a great little buy. The sheath isn't great either, but again, for the price, not bad at all. This is now in my hunting/field dressing small pack.

Great knife, badly designed sheath
Pros: Knife is compact but big enough to do the job. Fits comfortably in my large hands. Very sharp right out of the box.Cons: The strap to secure the knife in the sheath is positioned very poorly. The gutting hook is sharp enough that I cut the strap almost completely off the first time I took it out. A design improvement is needed there.
