I wanted a pair of gold and ruby studs. I searched for the perfect pair reading a lot of reviews which ultimately confused me more so I settled on these red cz w/gold sterling silver (even though I originally wanted genuine rubies and real gold)...I must tell you for 12.99 these studs are stunning! Beautiful color red and sparkle! Great quality! I was pleased with the tight lock of the backs wasn't expecting that! Because don't we all hate when we loose one of our favorite earings!

The model in the pic must have tiny ears. These are very small studs and the ruby color is not as deep as it appears in the photos thereby prune ting a somewhat pinkish cast to them. They should be half the price that they are.. so maybe around twelve bucks.

I ordered these for my daughter to wear with her dance recital costume. While the packaging could have been better--in a fabric bag shipped in a bubble envelope--the earrings were not damaged and look great. They matched my daughter's costume perfectly and looked perfect on.

The ruby earring stud is beautiful and is exactly the same as it was shown in the picture. The quality and workmanship is good. However the package was flimsy. Overall, I will buy again products from Gemstoneking.

The color of these earring stones (pinkish red) are what I was looking for.The metal parts (i.e., the posts and backings) are of substandard quality.They seem to have received their gold plating with the backings already on the posts, which made the backings firmly affixed to the posts. It took me a few minutes to pull the backings off the posts.Otherwise, I'm reasonably happy with these earrings.
