A must have...
I bought this hand strap as an alternative to a shoulder or neck strap for my camera. After having the camera (large mirrorless) bounce around on my chest when walking with a neck strap, it was clear these aren't ideal. The strap fits perfectly on the Canon EOS R7 and can be adjusted to accommodate different hand sizes. I have medium sized hands for a male and had no problem changing the size to fit me.The adjustments allow the strap to be fitted to your hand in such a way as to give you a safe way to carry and hold the camera, but also give yourself enough room to move your thumb around the screen and controls on the rear of the camera itself.Once you insert your hand into the strap, there's a smaller one which wraps around your wrist and can be fixed with a press stud. This adds to the stability and prevents any chance of dropping the camera.Even holding your hand outstretched and letting go of the camera doesn't pose any risk because it's securely fitted around your hand.As you walk, you can relax your hand at your side and just let your wrist and fingers take the weight. This distributes the weight enough to make it comfortable for long periods of use too.If you want a secure method of walking around with your larger camera which will prevent any chances of dropping it or of the camera bouncing around, I'd highly recommend one of these. After a couple of weeks using this, I can't really think of anything about it that I could realistically criticise.

Well designed, built and feels comfortable
Purchased & fitted to Nikon D850 with MB-D18 battery grip. Decently adjustable for large to small hands. Sits well around the wrist and back of hand. At a plate fits nicely into tripod head. Red stitching sits well with Nikon's red accents.I have a much more expensive Peak Design hand strap on my Nikon D500 and pleased to say this is half the price and feels every bit as solid. Be interesting to see how it holds up on a long days shoot.

Works exceptionally well - takes camera weight off the hand.
Upgraded my camera to Canon R6 with L lenses and wanted something sturdy that would replace the neck strap. The R6 with L lenses has quite a lot of weight - and therefore, needed something that I could take that weight off my neck as well as my hand. The hand-strap does this well and is comfortable for long periods. I have walking around over 12 European cities this summer with camera on the hand-strap and even in the heat - the strap was comfortable and secure. I have the strap permanently on the camera and I have found that the strap allows hand movements for camera control which still carrying the weight well. I don't know how long the push-button-clips will last. They have lasted about 10months so far without issue. The only negative is that I have found that the webbing does stretch - so have had to tighten a few times over the last 10months. Would recommend and would buy again.

Sturdy strap - UPDATE: most of the time
Have a balloon flight soon so wanted the extra reassurance I wasn't about to drop my dslr over the side of the basket! This hand strap fits my Canon even with the neck strap still in place. Hopefully double protection! In the meantime, I have used the camera with the hand strap only and I have found it well finished, sturdy, comfortable around the hand and wrist, not to mention the camera noticeably attached. It attaches to the top right strap-loop on the camera. An attractively detailed leather(?) cushion pad sits on the back of your hand with a similar, narrower, adjustable cushioned strap that poppers onto that pad but is fed under your wrist (note the two poppers are very tight fitting so give fair confidence in their security). My strap passed a camera drop test with a 100-400mm lens onboard - not comfortable on the wrist at that very moment but the dslr remained attached to me (above the cushions on floor, I'm not stupid!) so the poppers held. The lower webbing strap from the pad feeds into the supplied quick-release tripod plate that you screw into the tripod thread on the camera bottom. So far, I'm certainly pleased with the item, its construction, finish and price. We'll see how it stands up to constant use.Update, strap came unsnapped and camera hit tiled floor!! Now, whether on that occasion I had not made sure the popper was fully home or it failed anyway, I will never know. UV filter rim damaged and lens rim also dinted. Be wary.

Super Grip
