The Canary Caper (A to Z Mysteries)

I really liked the book! It was funny and adventurous!

My third grader TAYLOR said this is an amazing mystery. Mya says awesome sauce. ADAM said this book was sick. Josh says best read loud of all time. The ending is a great twist.

A to Z Mysteries series is a wholesome, funny bunch of mystery stories that have enough twists and turns to keep my daughter interested, and enough clues that she can mostly solve the mystery before Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose. In the books these kids are always trying to help others and do the right thing. Author has mastered this art very well and these books convey this message very effectively to our kids. There's nothing scary in these books, the chapters are short, and everything wraps up nicely at the end of each book.We wanted to give our daughter books that are not very big but characters and stories that would keep her engaged. She loves the characters and can easily relate to them. She even dressed like Ruth Rose when there was character day in her school. We have most of these books and she is eager to get the ones that she doesn’t and complete the set. We also have these books as a return gift for her birthday and everyone in her class loved them.Moral of each book: good guys win, bad guys lose.

I have never seen my first grade grandson so excited over books. They are reading them in the classroom and he wanted his own. His parents ended up buying him the full set after all.

How they solve mysteries so good is a mystery itself that they could figure out along with the canary caper!

My husband and I are reading through these books with my son. He’s 15 m old so for now he just plays while we read in the background. I hope he grows up loving them and reading them himself one day.

I purchased these for my 8 year old niece for her birthday (per her request). They are great for a child that loves to read and wants something a little more challenging/mysterious. She was very happy with these books. They seem to be great quality too. I highly recommend if you have a young reader in your home!

一話完結物で、ページ数も自分には丁度良く、大人でも楽しんで読み進められる。他にありそうでないカテゴリー、作品だと思う。

このシリーズの第3弾です。「C」ですから（笑）DInkたちの街にサーカスがやって来た（＊＾＾＊）！！Dinkは友達とサーカスを見にいきます。そんな中、街でペットがいなくなりました。しかも同じ日に！！カナリアだったり、ウサギだったり、そしてDinkの友達Ruth Roseの猫Tigerまでも！！これは、絶対事件だと思ったDInkたちは、聞き込みにいきます。これは、本当に事件なの？？このお話は、私は半分ぐらい？で犯人が解ってしまいました（＾＾；なので、★は4つにしました。まっ、早いうちからRuth Roseが推理してることをヒントにしてるのですが（＾＾；でも、おもしろいです。レベルは3ぐらいです。時々見知らぬ単語もでてきますが、挿し絵が助けてくれるし、解らないままでもドンドン読めてしまいます。英検準1級がなかなか受からないモカで、1時間ぐらい読めました（＾＾）v　早いの？遅いの？

大人の私もわくわくしながら読みました。値段は安いですが、それでもあっという間に読んでしまうので、ちょっともったいない気がします。
