Worked as intended
Appreciate the crank sensor plug since it was going in a boat with no crank sensor. So much more expensive than just buying a seal though, no idea why GM switched to one-time use timing covers.

Not bad, thought it would be pretty lousy quality but it held up ok and stopped leaks
The entire design is very stupid and GM went back to Aluminum housings after they stopped producing this design. But regardless, this replacement was not bad, came with the bolts, everything went in fine and stopped the oil leaks on the vehicle. I'm satisfied.

Perfect fit for my 2002 Chevy S10 4
Perfect fit for my 2002 Chevy S10 4.3L engine. Be aware though, if your not removing the oil pan and replacing it's gasket, installing one of these can be tricky. There's a ridge at the bottom inside of the cover that might need to be modified / removed. This is the case with any of these covers, they were designed to be put on first, before the pan gasket. This fit identically to the factory cover, it's on and the leak at the base of the cover (very common for these Vortec Engines) is now gone.

Good timing cover fit alright on my 4.3 Silverado 2006 had to cut down the lip on the back a bit to fit over the oil pan gasket as I didn’t remove the oil pan!

Ne dure pas longtemps
Pour faire un travail correct sur un V6 4,3 VORTEC, il faut changer le joint de carter d huile aussi. Après avoir fait le travail avec soin, cela a fonctionné correctement mais au bout de 4 mois une petite fuite est arrivé.Je vais refaire tout le travail mais avec un carter en métal (aluminium) car je soupçonne fortement qu un carter en plastique ne tienne qu un temps sur ses moteurs.
