Review: Great knife, just not for my needs. - I ended up returning. Excellent knife with an excellent blade steel. Fit and finish was amazing. I have larger hands. Not necessarily bear paws. Just large enough the thinness of the knife felt off. Would be an excellent knife for carrying when you don’t want bulk in your pockets. It’s more on the vanilla, non scary looking side. Won’t freak out the squares if you need to use it or hand it off to a non knife person to use. The lock back is great. And the pocket clip is really nice. Small and won’t rip up clothing. The thin scales and lack of texture was the reason for returning. Just wouldn’t fit my needs.

It combines a low profile in the pocket with a hefty high quality blade. Looks sharp as hell in a classic sort of way, intimidating even. Razor sharp out of the box. Would love to know the bevel angle for when it will need sharpening. The only imperfection is that the opening/closing mechanism is a bit dated and old fashioned. I will say that when opened it feels solid as hell. No play whatsoever and a little lubricant in the pivot helps a ton. But it’s definitely not a one hand closer, even though it is a one hand opener. Still, as an edc its slimness makes up for it. I literally can’t feel it in my pocket.

I ended up returning. Excellent knife with an excellent blade steel. Fit and finish was amazing. I have larger hands. Not necessarily bear paws. Just large enough the thinness of the knife felt off. Would be an excellent knife for carrying when you don’t want bulk in your pockets. It’s more on the vanilla, non scary looking side. Won’t freak out the squares if you need to use it or hand it off to a non knife person to use. The lock back is great. And the pocket clip is really nice. Small and won’t rip up clothing. The thin scales and lack of texture was the reason for returning. Just wouldn’t fit my needs.

I bought this folding knife for everyday carry (EDC), but it has clearly decided that its everyday job is to test my pain tolerance. It is a masterpiece of engineering that refuses to be contained by a mere pocket. Opening it is a breeze. Closing it is a high-stakes game of Russian roulette where my thumb is always the loser. This blade doesn't just cut packages; it marks its territory. Pros Terrifyingly sharp: Slices through thick cardboard like butter. Flawless action: Opens so fast it defies the laws of physics. Ergonomic grip: Extremely comfortable to hold right up until the moment it bites you. Cons Thirst for blood: Has developed a taste for human sacrifice. Lacks boundaries: Treats my fingers with the exact same disrespect it shows a heavy-duty zip tie. Final Verdict This is an incredible tool if you need to survive in the wilderness. It is less ideal if you just want to open Amazon boxes without needing a paramedic on standby. It currently lives in my desk drawer inside a padded lockbox for its own safety—and mine.
