Pleasantly surprised with the price. Bought it for our grandson who fell in love with this same model at a local park. Easy to assemble. Easy to use. Hours of fun. Perfect size for our 5 year old grandson.

The kids love it! It will actually dig! Looks like it would be easy to fix if anything broke off or came apart.

The seat is lower to the ground then I thought it would be. Other than that it was easy to put together and has some good quality to it.

I had my eye on this toy for my son for over a year. When it came time for his 3rd birthday, the right time arrived. I ordered the package with the vest and hard hat and the standard, no wheels excavator. It was a little difficult to put together, and the instructions could be clearer, but between other reviews and the Internet, I managed to assemble it. My son was in love. A few things to consider: 1. I consider this to be appropriate for my 3 year old son, assuming adult supervision. If he tried to lift it or move it on his own, he could accidentally pinch his fingers if he did it the wrong way. 2. Is not very heavy and the size is perfect for any 3 year old. I’m not sure how big a kid can be to use it (probably in the product description) but given the price and quality, I would be happy even if he could only use it until the age of 4 or 5. 3. As long as you don’t drop it on or bump into something that can scratch a well painted surface, this thing is very durable. 4. You’ll need a sandbox or a pile of dirt or mulch!

I love it, Kids love it, husband loves it! In fact the kids love it so much we need to get two more because I am getting tired of hearing the kids whine as they wait for their turn!. Very sturdy, light to carry but stable when kids are on it. Our son who is 2 has trouble reaching the controls and sitting on the seat. But he just puts his feet up on the cross bar and it seems to work. Hasn't pinched his toes yet.

The only toy that entertains my 21 month old. He’s big for his age and LOVES excavators. This product was smaller then I thought it would be but perfect size for him! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I paid $70 and now see them on sale at Rona for $44.99. Wish I looked around but the product its self has been great

I was worried that this would get broken right away... we have 2 little boys who are rough on their toys. It's been a couple of months and this thing is tough! It's currently moving snow onto dump trucks and diggers but I expect it will do just as well in the summer. Hours of fun for my 4 year old and the 2 year old can use it to. Nice to see where the imagination takes them with this toy.
