Although almost any Japanese paper can be adapted for use with encaustic paints and mediums this package contains 7 varieties that we recommend you start with. This packet of special papers was put together by The Japanese Paper Place in Toronto specifically for Enkaustikos. There are two sheets each of seven papers for a total of 14 sheets per pack. 12 of the sheets measure 8-1/2 x 11 inches and two sheets measure 7 x 8-1/4 inches. Superbly strong and absorbent try these papers with encaustic monoprinting collage chine colle techniques direct painting and more. You will be surprised and delighted by the texture and inherent translucency of these papers when combined with wax!
