A Kid's Guide to Awesome Duct Tape Projects: How to Make Your Own Wallets, Bags, Flowers, Hats, and Much, Much More!

I could get over the fact that there was nothing my 6 year old and I would have wanted to make. I think part of that is due to the photos, that basically make you want to do none of the projects. THE PHOTOS and presentation of this book makes it look like a couple young adults took cell phones pictures in a basement *Note The glare on attached photos are not from my photo, that is how it looks in the book. Resulting in a well sold book..?.. Now, note* I am returning it without giving it a chance... The photos alone are enough for me. I do not want to follow directions (that are mostly visual) that are so unprofessional. My 6 year old understands the importance of presentimg work. I know, I know, we are talking about duck tape, but I can imagen so much color and creatiite and I saw nothing inspiering. We are very colorful artisitic family and I'm sorry, but this was an eye sore.Many people love this book and like I said I did not give it a chance, but flipping through looking for something to create drained any insperation *I (a parent and not a kid) I had was quickly drained. I wish I could have spent more time investigating, but I just could not look at the photos any moreSo maybe it works for some people. I just can't get over how unprofessional the whole thing is! I never write bad reviews, unless truly worth it and I Never attach photos good or bad.... But somehow it seems something with such poor quality is making money.. With I could have whipped together a book like this and had it pop up first on Amazin! :-)

I am choosing to return this book as it is such low-quality. I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my daughter and I am not going to give it to her. The instructional photos are low quality, some are even blurry. It looks like the authors either grabbed photos from the internet or took their own poorly-shot pictures, complete with dirty carpet in the background of some of the shots. Some pictures are washed out or hindered by the glare of the flash. This looks more like a how-to book made by a child than a professionally published and edited book.

I got this book for my grandkids. My 10 year old granddaughter got ahold of it first and she has not let it go. Her brothers (all 4 of them) will just have to wait. I initially got 1 roll of original duct tape plus 6 rolls of patterned tape. She and her best friend went through that pretty quickly while making as many of the projects in the book as they were able. So I bought her 3 more original rolls and 2 more patterned rolls.

I was surprised that this is a hardcover book. I missed that in the description. I gave it to two granddaughters to share and both were enthralled with the number of usable designs. I was pleased to see the detailed instructions. Amazon Prime got it delivered on Sunday just before the gift opening!

This book is so awesome!!!!! Better to get real book, not the Kindle version. It's a BIG hardback nice quality book. Over 40 projects to make. Nice projects, not childish ones. There are many ideas for things to make for grandma, but most are geared for older kids...unless you're a parent would loves duct tape, then this is the perfect excuse, that you need to help little Johnny. My son is12 and loving the book. Those teenagers who make their prom clothes from duct tape? probably started their skills using this book. (I highly advise purchasing one the 18 assorted rolls of tape from Amazon. You need a lot of duct tape) each project has detailed instructions but even better, LOTS of detailed pictures. It's hard to mess up with all those pictures.

If you have a crafty kid this book is awesome and full of ideas. Perfect present for kids (and interesting to adults too) with some rolls of duct tape to get started. Definitely give with some duct tape. Kid has made so many things from book already and given as presents and starting her own duct tape craft side business. Love that! Better book for kids than the duct tape books geared towards adults.

Honestly, one of the best gift ideas for a 10 to 12 year old. Boy or girl. This was bought for my son who is settled easily by keeping busy! It was hit again this year during quarantine. Just get it ... you won't believe the gifts they will make you! Amazing!

Purchased for my 12 year old grand daughter for Christmas. The book looks more involved than what even a 12 year old can do. Only time will tell when you attempts a project.

The content suits girls more than boys, was disappointing for my son, although the book is well presented and looks nice.

This is a great book, the kids love it so much! Everything i use is made of duct tape!! Wallet, bag, pens, flowers, hats!, bowls!! I even heard them mention a coat!? People are starting to comment!!!..

Grandaughter is enjoying all the different things that can be done with it.

I was disappointed in this book. It should be sold as a book for girls. There is very little in it for boys and yet it looks like something boys would enjoy doing. I don't even know if I will give it to my grandson because I doubt he'll find many projects in it to do. I may just donate it to the library
