My favorite backpack for mountain biking
An amazing trail backpack. I feel secure having the back protector in which weighs little to nothing. All my tools and spares fit with ease in the tool area. And there are numerous pockets for other items as well. Great breathability and the price is unbeatable when compared to others selling the same product online.

Solid pack for those who want a rugged defense for their backs.
Overall, this bag fits a large bill and has robust double-stitching.The polymer plate that supports the back is actually impressive. I ordered this for a gravel race last weekend. On a wet corner, I was cut-off and fell on another bike's EggBeater; my back landed STRAIGHT on this guy's EggBeater. The impact definitely was not cozy although the polymer plate dispersed the impact just enough to keep me in the race. I had a hydration pack and a rain jacket stuffed in it. Both were fine!I was approached by officials and other cyclists who also noted how f****d that landing was. I mean, I might as well have landed on a sharp rock. Thanks to this pack, I ended up addressing I was okay, finished the race, and had but a baseball-sized, dim red spot. LolThe packs are pricey but they will keep your back in better shape than without if you crash! Stuff it with a rain pack and a hydration pack; save that back!

Extremely comfortable
I finally splurged on a new pack after riding with a beat up Camelback for several years. The evoc blackline protector is a bit longer, thinner, and has better pocket placement. The result is a pack that fits better, moves around less when riding, doesn't inhibit motion, and keeps tools organized. This pack carries everything i need, is extremely comfortable, and my new favorite "day pack" for a range of activities. However, the back protection is the main reason I purchased this pack over others. It won't protect in every scenario, but I've been reassessing my gear after one of the guys I ride with regularly had a bad spill resulting in spinal surgery.

Great freeride/trail backpack!!
Low profile and very secure fit. Doesn't move around when riding tough trails.

Sure it doesn't come with a bladder but I used an older Camelbak bladder I had lying around and it works great. the pack sits where it needs to
This pack makes any Camelbak I've tried seem cheap. From the material of the bag to the compartments, this pack rocks. Sure it doesn't come with a bladder but I used an older Camelbak bladder I had lying around and it works great. the pack sits where it needs to, doesn't move on even big jumps/drops, and it the ventilation is better than any other pack I've tried. Plus the back protector is top-notch and is removable. Don't hesitate to buy one! Oh and check eBay as these packs can cost less on that site, happy trails!

great product
Great backpack, the quality of the materials are really good, there is plenty space to carry more than the basic tool, and couple more layers of clothing, the Back protector seems pretty though. and the whole backpack its breathable and light, I tried it against the Camelback KUDU10 and the KUDU felt a heavier without any gear just the bladder full, than the EVOC with the bladder full both with the same 3L bladder.great back over all, I think it also a good looking one, the only thing is it moves a little the fit could of been better like the Kudu but nothing major. doesn't come with a bladder

Exactly what I wanted!
This pack has tons of room, you can place nearly any water bladder you want in it, the waistband part is very comfortable, & I feel i can organize everything without having to squish it all together.
