Will this remote work with sharp lc-40q5020u?

I bought 2 different remotes. Neither worked properly. The second one works but the buttons are mislabeled In the wrong spots. I never ended up receiving a working remote after many tries

How do you program this remote?

It was specifically for the tv that I have and therefore didn't need to be programmed. If worked straight out of the box. To my knowledge it's not a universal remote :)
