I love this stuff and have used it for at least 20 years. My favorite is the original hickory, and roasted, garlic peppercorn.

great on oven roasted turkey
Used frequently on cuts of beef, but used it on this years roasted fresh turkey - came out beautifully browned, with a bit crispy skin , and with juicy tender breast meat. Spread light coating of olive oil and generous rub of the char crust all over. Stuffed with whole lemon, fresh thyme sprigs, rosemary from my garden and a half a sweet onion. Inserted two remote meat probes - one in the breast and the other in the thickest part of the thigh. The breast cooks faster than the dark meat and while most instruction tell you to cook until dark meat reaches 180, I pulled the bird when the breast meat was at 169 (165 preferred) and thigh at about 173. Was perfect, not overcooked, not under cooked, very tender and flavorful!

Amazing!!
Good char is really difficult to find in stores. Nothing I've bought compares.These have great flavors and adds a beautiful char. A little goes a long way so they last. I place mine in plastic baggies so they stay fresh and then place them back in their box. Will definitely buy again, highly recommend!

Great Taste
I have been ordering this product for a few years. I use it on everything that I grill --meat, fish, vegetable. It adds a lot of flavor and what I especially like about it is the fact that it kept the meat (steaks, chops) very juicy when cooked. Definitely recommend that every cook or griller have this product on their shelf.

What it does for a steak is so good, it should be considered a drug.
I now can’t order steak at any restaurant because the steaks that I grill using the hickory flavored Char Crust are far more juicy and better tasting. I have given gift boxes of Char Crust to staff people at my condo and have received rave reviews as a result. This rub is fantastic stuff!!!

Delish
Took a gamble purchasing this. Most seasonings purchased at the store taste okay/average. But so far this tastes really good. I’ve only tried Java so far. But it makes cheap steak taste delicious. I added a little butter on top.

Best on pork and chicken
Of all the Char-Crust seasonings (since they did away with the chipotle one), this one is our favorite. It's more versatile than some - it is reliably good on pork and chicken without clashing with other things, if you're having something like pesto as a side.

A staple for years
Use on steaks and burgers. Helps create a wonderful char. It's kind of my secret weapon and I always get raves from family and friends. Great beef rub !
