Best Color Mixing, Extremely Good Build Quality
Excellent product. Built like a tank but small, very bright fixture with the best color mixing available. WiCicle enabled, which means wireless DMX does not require a separate power source if using Blizzard WiCicle wireless DMX system (saves a LOT of set up and breakdown time versus running DMX cables everywhere). The build quality is just really spectacular. It makes me happy to just hold these things in my hand and appreciate the design. Very nice build. The PowerCon fittings add a little extra $ investment in cables, but it's worthwhile. PowerCon cables are locked in place, so no flickering issues if jostled, nor will they come unplugged accidentally. Basically, the added money is worth it in reliability, which is basically Blizzard in a nutshell. A little more expensive, but you get a better built & brighter fixture with a two year warranty. ADJ & Chauvet make good products as well, but they are cheaper, and the trade off (in my experience) is with products that aren't as bright and not as tough. I already owned Blizzards Fab5 fixtures prior to buying these, so am already spoiled by RGBAW color mixing. The addition of Ultra violet aka UV or Blacklight to the mix just makes them even more versatile. I use the 40 degree filters (sold separately) when using these for Blacklight parties. While the UV is not quite as bright as a dedicated UV fixture, it is still excellent when used on a T-Bar and aimed at the crowd with the 40 degree filter. Two year warranty and great customer service is just icing on the cake.
