Netting.
We bought so dog didn't fall out of the back (we have a drawer level with the tub and he sits on top). Some parts of the directions are to be desired. They supply pictures but are Xerox copies being in black and white so on certain angles cannot see what you should do, we had to figure some out. We were missing a few pieces and had to call Smittybilt for them. We were able to use without them but did not complete the installation and look. They sent us the wrong parts and had to call back. We finally got the right parts. The rear bottom corners, front hooks and some areas the straps wrap around and overlap are a very sloppy design. The netting is great, very strong. I love the way it looks. It does flap in the wind as you cannot get all the slack out but does not cause noise. We do not even take it off. Besides being too much work to put back on, it is able to be left on and our top reinstalled over it. That was the reason we bought this one in the first place. I would recommend to other Jeepers. Unfortunately it just seems like a drunk thought up how to install it.

Great looking, heavy duty cargo net. Cross bar NOT required!
It looks really good on the Jeep. Installation was straightforward but tedious. The quality is fantastic, except for the one Smittybilt logo being sewn on upside down (nobody would notice it but me). I do need to tighten the straps occasionally, but haven't driven it that much yet. The only thing I don't like about this style of cargo net is that it doesn't quite go all the way to the back of the Jeep. This is because it attaches directly to the roll bars, plus 2 hooks on each side (one horizontal, goes out to the body tub; the other vertical, goes to the tie downs). This does not require the soft top cross bar if you're putting it on a Jeep with a factory hardtop. That bar is about $50. It's required for the vinyl version, which is cheaper. However, when you add the cost of bar, the price ends up almost the same. The vinyl one does end up coming all the way back to the door though, so it does end up with a slightly different silhouette than this one. The vinyl one looks a bit larger, but in my opinion, this one looks much tougher and better overall. One minor thing to be aware of that probably won't affect most Jeeps-- the net tends to mess with the auto-dimming mirror as the light from the car behind you pops in and out between the straps.

It looks great and I'm happy
Got this for my 14 wrangler unlimited Willys. This is the correct model number for the unlimited up to year 14. The picture shown isn't quiet correct but I knew what it really looked like bc I have a catalog from 4 wheeler and it shows a lot of dif types of c-res. this product is great for what it was intended to do...keep stuff in and.....why u really bought it for its look.I didn't however buy a tailgate bar as I have a hard top. I was able to latch the j hooks of the back end component of the cres to a set of the female end in the jeep bed bottom area right where the trunk shuts (idk what the part is called) and the other set of j hooks to anywhere on the frame of the jeep in the back. It can be installed all completely with the hard top on. It looks great and I'm happy. I really didn't want to spend loads of money on something I wasn't using all year around ( safari straps $$$ ) meaning with my roof off at all times. However, the instructions is really not helpful. I resorted to looking at pictures anywhere I could find to help show where all the straps should be placed as dumb as it sounds...otherwise it's quiet intuitive.Nuff said...

Did not fit my vehicle
It looked ok for the money, pretty basic and like it would protect my vehicle but it didn't fit. Once installed it seemed pretty stable to use.

It's worth the money.
I'd definitely recommend this net to any Jeep owner. Quick and easy install, looks great and the hard top fits over it no problem. The back part of the net has quick disconnects for full and easy access to the cargo area.

Easy to install
I glanced at the directions then looked at the netting, and installed w/o the use of the direction sheet. I’m no genius, but the install went smoothly and is intuitive. I’m very pleased with the ruggedly enhanced look of my JKU.

Terrible to install
Installation is unmanageable and doesn’t serve its purpose

It’s nice but it should cover more of the back.
Not big enough.

awesome!
Great quality for the price... seems like installation should be relatively quick. Netting looks to be well made, will do the job just fine. Looking forward to taking the top off this summer and riding with just the net on.

Missing parts
Looks alright, wouldve been better if I had all the parts it came with but it came in missing a strap. Not its just sitting collecting dust.
