Compact and comfy cot
I already have a bulky cot I use for week long camping trips so I was on the fence about buying this. But after a weekend campout I was happy I did. Its easy to set up and cots keep you cooler in warm weather. I wouldn't hesitate to take this on a hiking trip either, its pretty light and compact. As others mentioned, you probably want to use this on pretty flat land.

Better than a blow up sleeping pad.
I own 3 tents. 9X7 Coleman, 10x12 NTK COLORADO GT, and 6’7” X 5’7” B FULL instant pop up tent. All are very good. I got this for the smaller tents when I solo. The cot is comfortable wether you are a back, side or belly sleeper. Easy to assemble but takes a little strength to attach the legs. Yes it creaks, no big deal. I purchased a HI HIKER blow up sleeping pad for $20. This combination turns the cot into a luxury sleeping unit. Wow it really makes the cot 1000 percent more comfortable. One thing I use to protect the tent floor are furniture sliders. You know those felt or plastic pads you put under furniture to move easily. Well they are light, don’t take up much room and fit nicely under the cot legs, chairs, or tables you bring into tents. Call me stupid but I always take 2 tents camping. Solo the smaller ones, with family large and medium. Why? I was in Asheville NC camping years ago with my 3 kids. We went gem mining in a heavy thunderstorm. When we returned to the camp grounds a flash flood soaked our tent and sleeping bags. Slept in the station wagon that night and dried the stuff out the next day. Ever have a pole break or bend? These smaller tents take up little room and I don’t want to end my camping early. Boy Scout motto BE PREPARED. BIG BROTHER EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. Would buy again and definitely use a blow up pad for a great night sleep.Update: Works good in smaller tents since it has a low profile and won’t touch the sides that slope in the higher you get. My 15 in high cot will not fit in my smaller tents without touching the sides.

Camping cot for solo trips
I like this camping cot for my solo backpacking trips as it keeps me off the ground and allows for a much more comfortable sleep. It is easy and fast to assemble, but I recommend using it on flat ground. It is large enough for me to sleep in and collapses small for me to pack away. A great cot for car camping as well and does not sag a lot.

Perfect for my tent
It takes a little muscle to get the cross beams in but that's a good thing. They seem sturdy. The cot is a perfect size for a tent. Even a small one. I've slept on it about 20 times now and its still holding up just fine. For me it was perfect to use in my small 2 man tent. Gives you enough hight so your not sleeping directly on the ground but it wasn't so high that your pushed into the side of the tent. You might want to add some foam or something on the feet to not damage the bottom of the tent but they are pretty wide. Oh and it packs up very small and light. Win win all the way around.

Lightweight and easy
I’m old enough to be a serious fan of camping cots. Hammocks are fine for lounging but I can’t sleep in them. We mostly car camp and kayak, so I have other comfortable and reasonably compact cots, but not this lightweight. This one might convince me to try a short backpacking trip, since the rest of my gear is light enough that the weight won’t be an issue. A decent sleep system makes me a much happier camper. I’m not tall or heavy so can’t comment on sturdiness and will definitely use it with a pad.

Painful to Set Up
This cot is very lightweight, which is great, and fairly comfortable to lay on. The blue rod accent color is a fun pop too. However, beware the set-up. I felt like I broke my fingers trying to get the leg rods attached. You need great upper body strength if you plan to set up and pack up routinely.

garbage, dont buy
this is all wrong the legs dont fit, it is terrible do not buy it. look at my pics the legs are too long and will not assemble. the instructions make no sense since they were obviously translated from another language to english. the picture in the instructions is different from the picture in this listing AND it is different from what I received. the item, the photo on the listing, and the photo in the instructions all have different legs. the item i received nothing fits. the instructions has a picture of a cot with 5 triangle legs, this listing shows not triangle but like rods or something and what i received matches neither and doesnt fit. just go buy one from a store with clear instructions and that matches what you were lead to beleive you were buying. this is garbage.

Great usable cot.
I got this cot as a backup to normally hammock camping. The past three times I've been out I just put it up inside my full size van because the weather was really nasty 2 of them and there was a black bear roaming around the 3rd time out so inside the van it was. It sets up pretty quickly for me after the first time. I put an air mattress on top so it sleeps quite comfortably. It is plenty sturdy for my 223 lbs. I actually like it being quite low to the ground. It is easy to set things around you, water, flashlight etc... and get to them easily. It packs up in about the size of a football and is fairly lightweight for what it is. All in all I really like it a lot.
