Elive LED Aquarium Fish Tank Pod Lighting - Replacement Pod for LED Track Light, Lunar Blue

I like the Blue as it adds definition and color to the tank. Using just the white lights make it look so dark and green in the tank.I do turn off the white lights at night and use the blue for a night light.I have a 54 corner bow tank and you really need lots of these lights to make a difference. I think you can have 19 pods in my set up and I have 6 of them blue pods in there. I am not totally sold on the led lights.... I really thought it would be brighter than the florescent but I can say that it is. Maybe it is because my tank is deep? Im not sure. But my florescent lights were getting old and falling apart so I thought I would try this.

We purchased the light hood from Petsmart. They are discontinuing this line and it is hard to find additional/replacement light pods for this hood. We did our research and came across this pod. After delivery we noticed the attachment clips are different than the Petsmart hood. So while the hoods and pods have the same manufacturer and are the same size with all the components aligning with each other, they are not compatible due to the attachment clip difference.

Bought the light and some extra pods. The quality of light given off is great. The quality of the product is garbage. Yes I bought it knowing it wasn't water proof took extra precaution to protect it and it got splashed. I know it's not water proof but this is the first one that died from getting splashed. Obviously it's fragile.

It has good color and makes my fish tank look better but it does not lock into place like the ones that came with my light. I had to place the plastic cover over the light just to hold it in place.

Well made and good color.

These LED pods are real nice addition to my tank.
