Great hutch, lots of storage room, perfect size!
Love this piece! I shopped in stores and online for 8 months before settling on this piece. I wanted something to fit a specific space that was 34" wide, 28" deep, which was nearly impossible to find... and I wanted a small display cabinet with glass doors (to protect/minimize dust on a few favorite pieces), base cabinet with drawers and room for a couple of larger kitchen items, and an accessible countertop for storage to move pet food/supplies out of my small kitchen. This piece gave me everything!- Pet food containers (will be shopping for prettier ones), vitamins, treat bucket and plenty of room left over on the counter top!- leashes, harness, dog brushes, meds, etc. in the drawers.- canned foot, pitcher, large serving bowl, lobster pot and booze including wine bottles in the base cabinet.- This is a very sturdy piece - it has adjustable feet for leveling too. This was packaged SUPER WELL. All pieces clearly labeled, hardware CLEARLY LABELED AND SEPARATED. This made the OCD me super happy.*The stainless steel countertop did have a burnished mark on the backside, almost like part of a water ring, but the hutch covers it.*There was one tiny nick on the right side of the base trim, but that side is on a wall so I didn't mind.*The glass panel in the left door of the hutch must have shifted during shipping - there's 1/8" gap between the glass and the groove for its insert, but isn't visible unless you're standing there up on it and looking for it.It is NOT WHITE (which I typically base on school notebook paper white). I would call it a bone white or ivory. It is a couple inches taller than my kitchen cabinets in height.Assembly (all by myself) was about 3 hours with a couple of short celebratory breaks in between. I think it helped that I took inventory first and laid out the pieces in alpha order. The instructions were great - but pay attention to the pictures/directions of features of pieces with drawers/doors. The hex bolt with cap didn't really make it clear that you needed the cap (small cylinder nut with a hole on top) inserted into its hole in the furniture with the screwdriver X facing out so you can hold it steady while you turn the bolt into place, but that may be picky of fairly handy little ole me. If you order the base cabinet alone, it is 2 boxes, the hutch/top comes in a 3rd box. I did elect to mount the hutch to the base cabinet BEFORE attaching the top and the doors and inserting the shelf so I could manage lifting it by myself.I did have an issue where the J pieces (backboards for the base cabinet) were NOT included in the original packaging - but an email to the seller and I received the pieces in 5 business days. One thing I liked seeing - the manufacturer is a sub-company of FlexSteel.Overall I am very very please!

- The directions were easy to follow
Pros...- All the pieces were labeled.- The hardware was divided into plastic bags and labeled.- The directions were easy to follow.- Almost all the holes lined up and the hardware fit fine.- It looks nice when completed.Cons...-Two steps of the directions had you placing pieces together, without attaching, but the hardware to attach had to then be put underneath a piece (making them come apart). Another set of hands could be helpful to hold the pieces together while you lift & attach).-The bottom doors do not hang quite right, so they slightly scrape at the bottom. (Leveling did not change this.)-The holes in the back to attach the hutch to the buffet do not line up with the metal brackets, so only three of four holes could be used on each side, and one new hole had to be drilled on each side as well. (Easy to take care of, though, & all other holes did line up.)-The knobs and handles that came with it did not go with the stainless steal counter. (They looked tarnished, although I do not think they were.) But Home Depot had plenty of stainless knobs/handles.This unit took me about four hours total (partially because I put on piece in backwards, oops, and had to take quite a bit apart to fix). Some people are complaining about the size, but that is exactly why I bought this piece...I needed a narrower hutch (and the stainless steel matched my appliances). So I just suggest that you look at the dimensions of this buffet/hutch to see if it is the right size for you.

Exceeded our Expectations - in many ways
My wife absolutely loves this unit. This was purchased to support having a better place for a 'coffee station'. We have grinder and accessories under neath the buffet. One (1) K-Cup maker and one (1) espresso station sitting on top of the buffet section.** Our specific intended use came with similar questions of others, will my items actually fit under the hutch / on top of the buffet based on the area provided (that microwave-oven-placement, area). Here are a couple additional measurements to consider: Left/Right opening (width) approx. 26.5". Height, at the sides of the mouth 15 1/16" (to the left of our kcup brewer, or to the right of our espresso machine, up/down). Height at the center of the opening (between our two coffee machines) 15 3/4". Hope this helps. What we noticed while laying out the pieces was a few important details.- Directions: some of the best we could have asked for. Great drawings, large views, cross examination is possible by comparing steps and drawings.- Labels: Hardware was very well labeled (with "words", and not just some cryptic design requiring a chart to decipher). This made preparing for assembly even simpler.- Preassembly: Many of the tiny and annoying components (drawer rails, hinges, etc.) were all pre-assembled. This saved a lot of time, pain and prevented some human error.- Protection: every piece was well labeled for easy assembly. Many layers of foam and cardboard prevented damage and allowed the pieces to go together very easy.Pro's:- Very Solid furniture once assembled.- Small footprint- Looks classy- Adjustable feet for stability- Not some cheap Walmart junk- Everything well labeled, directions good- The bottom edges of the hutch has Felt on it to prevent scratching and reduce slippage on top of the buffet- Hardware is included to attach the hutch to the buffetCon's:- Right-hand doors must be opened FIRST before you can open the left (just opening a Left-door causes both doors to open with unnecessary pressure on the right). *This is due to their being a lip on the left-side (by design). We seriously do not like this feature. It would be best of both doors closed/opened independently.- Quite heavy, overall** Though costly (for us), we can honestly say you get what you pay-for, in this item. The design, weight, strength, stability, good instructions, well protected, ease of assembly and more, made this a day-and-night experience compared to those cheaper items. Most Highly Recommended
