Still my #1 fantasy series & author

Tad Williams is hands down my #1 fantasy author. The Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn series was the first of his books that I read and still remain my favorite. His characters are wonderfully formed & three dimensional as are the environments he creates. I worked in a bookstore and was often asked what I recommended in this genre. This was the series. Not a single person I referred them to was disappointed.
