Moravian Star Light Flush Mount Ceiling Light with Seeded Glass Shade Black for Living Room Bedroom Bathroom Hallway

This is a beautiful light. My husband, who is very handy, installed it with me holding it up to ceiling. He said it was a pretty basic install. All parts were included although the instruction weren't very detailed. I put a 60 watt Edison bulb in it and it looks perfect! Regular light bulb shape fits fine in the 12 inch light.

We love this! As you can see in my photos, we replaced the very old and outdated fixture out in our back patio area. It's super cute!The only downside is the spot to put in the bulb is a little funky and a weird/hard angle.

I love everything about this light. From the way, it looks lit up, to the craftsmanship, to the simplicity, and what it looks like when it’s not lit up.

This light fixture is so versatile. Originally, I thought to put it in our foyer, but ultimately decided on putting it in my boy’s room. It looks amazing and goes great with the theme of the room as well. Thinking about seeing if I can get a smart bulb to fit inside & connect with Alexa for dimmability. That is the only fussy thing about this light - the opening for the light bulb is on the side and is quite narrow - my husband couldn’t fit his hand, but I managed - so it’s doable.

Super easy install. Directions were not good but self explanatory. Seems to be good quality. But and this is a big but, if you have large hands, don’t buy this. There is one section where the glass is hinged and you have to stick the light bulb in there and try to turn it with one hand. I have medium sized hands and it was tough. As far as brightness we went from a two bulb fixture to this and it is plenty bright enough with the right bulb. I like the fixture just going to have to have the wife change the bulb when it goes out. Oh and the other cool thing is that it projects a star on the ceiling when it’s on.

I used this to replace my hallway light. It is the perfect size and looks magical when lit. It gives off plenty of light. It is very difficult to clean the inside and the bulb is tubular, but not hard to find at the store, as there were multiple options when I bought it.

Love this light, the shadow it casts, everything about it. Electrician had it installed quickly. It looks great!

The light looks really nice. Better than I thought it would.It is a bit dim as clear glass lights tend to be, but it is bright enough and the seeded glass is a great addition. I am glad to have seeded glass vs clear glass. Seems a bit warmer in tone.We also just put a standard warm LED bulb in that is not clear and the seeded glass helps dampen the view of the white part and opaque LED cowling. Only thing I think would make this bettwer would be if there was a bit of a stem the Star part hung down from instead of the point coming directly out of the base plate, but the Moravian Star lights that have such a feature tend to be much more expensive boutique types of lights.Installation was a bit technical, but simple. I have done a lot of construction and so I have my workarounds for things. For someone who hasn't installed fixtures before, this one could present a few problems depending on what the electric setup of their previous overhead light was like. Wiring was straitforward but the wires are short. An extra set of hands to hold the fixture could be useful.The suspension bar might give some people a few extra tries. Just be patient and take your time.I would definitely buy this again or recommend buying it to someone. You can figure it out. The base plate is wide and can cover any shifts you might have to make.
