Will it detect gold nuggets

I have found gold rings etc including small gold earrings so pretty confident it will pick up nuggets

Hi, I have just received my model but the shaft rattles as if something small inside is loose. Is this normal ?

Yes they all rattle as there is a vibro motor that creates the vibration in the probe, they spin when you shake them.

Is it suitable for treasury hunting in sea?

The scuba-detector head is desingned specifically for detecting underwater. The pin-point head is for use as a probe to assist in target recovery when using a separate land-detector. The unit operates on pulse induction technology, so will not be affected by salt water, though the down-side to that is it will lack discrimination between different types of metal.

Is the coil capable of finding buried coins on land like a conventional detector ?

Yes if they are on the surface or only a couple of inches deep however it is a pulse detector so it won't descriminate it will find all metal best to buy a descriminating detector for land they go deeper and you can ignor iron.
