Easier install than I thought it would be. Very nice product. Quick delivery I'm very happy with this.

Wow now here is some quality products!!! I wil defenitly be buying Mesa Tactical parts in the future. Note to all Mossberg 930 spx tactical owners- the 6 shot holder appears just like photo it extends just a tad back from recover bezel. If perfectionist like myself some cutting and trimming is required to have no overlap. Clear Instructions included on how to cut and trim. Or buy the 4-5 round holder. If you do not mind that the actual fit and Chicago style mounting is perfect and secure! Actually improves the Mossberg eleminating any trigger group movement! Nice!!!

I knew the 4 shell carrier didn't carry enough shells and was thinking about getting the 8 but got the 6 and am happy I went with it as well as the one from Mesa. I think the 8 would have made things a bit too crowded. The instructions, tools and hardware were spot on as well as the product itself. They even included a very thin and dense rubber mat to install between this and the receiver to prevent marring of the receiver. The only thing I would change, package-wise, would be to add a very small "sample" size of blue locktite as their instructions recommend to use it on the hardware. This won't bring my rating down from a 5 though. I'm very happy I bought this and so is my Mossberg 930. Matt Cero, Seattle, WA

Mesa had issues with the supplied hardware with this product some time ago. The hardware causes the action to lock up on the firearm due to the bolts being to short for the application. The customer service sucks at Mesa Tactical after many phone calls and emails being sent they refused to send the updated hardware.

Best side saddle on the market.

The product itself is great. High quality and fits the shells nicely. Install is very easy BUT if you barely tighten the screws the receiver will not cycle at all or not fuction properly. It’s almost scary how lose you have to leave them in order to make the gun work. I have a Mossberg 930 SPX blackwater addition. If you install this product make sure you go to the range after to conduct a proper function test before trusting the weapon, Good Luck !

Great product easy to install with the help of YouTube. Hold the shells firmly and after about 100 rounds still hasn't come loose. The shells also stay in place under the force of rapid firing high brass. The only kind of negative is that the rubber hoses they use to hold the rounds in place will deform after about 24-48 hours of holding the shell in place. I've found that taking the shell out for about 30 min is enough time for the hoses to return to their normal rigid shape.
