One of the best Resident Evil's to date!
As an avid Resident Evil fan, I was a little sceptical about this new look 1st person version. But it had everything I love about Resident Evil. After the failure of the 5th and 6th instalments, this one returns to its roots of classic survival horror! It's atmospheric, exciting and had me hooked right from the start. I like how Capcom have tried to incorporate a bit of Outlast into the game, e.g. Jack's Pursuit where avoiding detection is your best option for survival. My only regret is that I probably should have bought the Gold Deluxe edition which includes all the additional content, because to buy it all separately on Playstation Store proves quite expensive.

Great game, survival horror at it's best
Based in the Baker residence in the middle of nowhere in the US there are similarities to Resident Evil 1 and survival horror roots but with a new twist and scares.I wasn't sure about this incarnation of resident evil but after starting to play it had me on the edge of my seat. The easy mode is good for beginners though I'd do the harder one for those that know the series and Survival horror games.No zombies (spolier) but you will follow through the mystery of your partners disappearance and come into contact with a crazed family and "the moulded".It is fun to play and highly recommended.

Creepy as anything but really good game. Definitely recommend
This game is just something else, I've really not played it for long yet but so far it's scared me half to death! Its so intense but also challenging which is what we want from a good story game. It's incredible through the vr headset, the graphics are pretty impressive and overall I think it's one of the best vr games I've played so far! I don't scare easy either but this game has certainly got me a few times already. Highly recommend!

The game itself was excellent but way too short for the price. When I assumed I'd completed around 20% the game was over !
