Such a great set my hubby stole them!

I have become a Speedball fan. I really like the products they produce, and these nibs are no exception. I got the assortment to try out some of the nibs I hadn't tried yet, and it was cheaper to buy the set than to buy them individually. I have since tried all of them and they perform very well. Of course I do have my favorites compared to others, but it's a good chance to try several of them at once.

I wanted to get into calligraphy so I got this set along with Learn Calligraphy by Margaret Shepherd and some blue Waterman ink. Being a novice, I can't go too in depth, but so far I really like this set. There's a great variety of nibs for different purposes. I found some of the nibs to be, I guess you could call it "scratchy". These would pick up fibers from the paper, making the writing a bit fuzzy as well as the page. Granted this is a two dollar grid notebook I got merely for practice. Nonetheless, these nibs serve their purpose and I'm happy with my purchase. Maybe further down the road I'll invest in some Brause, but for now these are great. I especially like the A5 nib, it's definitely one of the smoothest.

I love these nibs! I working on a art piece and they working well with the canvas! I was missing one and the vendor sent it to me right away! Got it real fast! Nice!

There are so many! Surely for different styles, but I liked the smallest ones the best.

I needed several nibs I did not have, and found the 10-nib set to be a perfect solution. Nice to have them all available for my lettering artwork.

I have recently re-awakened a dormant hobby of drawing and calligraphy, deciding it was time for some new nibs. In the old days, I could walk into an art store and purchase (loose) a handful of nibs in various sizes. Today, I am forced to purchase a package that includes some I really don't want. Which is the case here. Overall, the package had what I needed and the price was certainly right.
