Great and handy for my office machine
Exactly what I wanted in a reuseable capsule for my new Citiz Nespresso machine I keep as a personal luxury in my office at work. gives me my choice of fresh ground coffee... I use the 3 setting on my burr grinder to match the results from the nespresso pods. Foil stickers are easy to apply. Makes for great results with nice crema, much easier than the espresso machine I have at home. Stainless steel without worrying about deforming, leaching or melting. No throwaway capsule waste to worry about. I only had to do a little experimenting (6-7 cups) to get the desired combo of grind, firm but not hard tamping and just to the rim filling. The preground Lavazzo produced good volume shot but too fine leaving dust to filter through and form a ring below the crema. Received promptly. No complaints. I have seen some with colored caps but I fill with all the same coffee I have fresh so don't need assorted colored caps.

prefer to refill original capsules
It works, but make sure you you get the coffee ground to the right consistency. I am using a mixture of Lavazza espresso ground and ground french roast Peet's coffee that I additionally re-grind to the espresso level (or even less). It is obviously a little more hassle than using ready made capsules. It will take a while before you can amortize the cost as you also have to pay for tops. Note also that this will not allow you to put as much coffee as the original capsules. The added coffee makes a difference for me. I compared emptying and original capsule and filling it to using this capsule. I prefer the original one. The only problem is that the original capsules cannot be used indefinitely.

The Sealpod capsules had broken my Nespresso U machine
Please do not use it for your Nespresso U machine. I was never able to use it effectively. I guess I have only tried them out 5 times in the month and was only successful once with a very thin espresso and little crema. Most of the time it only produced a few drops of coffee and got stucked. My Nespresso kept on running. Finally, I have to unplug the machine to turn it off. The last time I used the capsule the piston never pushed back so I could release the capsule or open the slider door. Turning on and off the machine further jammed everything. The capsule finally dropped, but my machine was jammed.I called Nespresso without disclosing that I did not use their capsules to see how I could get my machine to work. It didn't work after numerous trials and they told me to send the machine back for repair which would cost me over $125. I decided to give up. Now I am stuck with having these Sealpod capsules (5 of them which I have only used 1) and lids that I have purchased separately. Don't know how to return them since it has passed 1 month. Tell me what I can do with them? I also have decided to get a Bosch Tassimo as a replacement after all the frustrations with these capsules and Nespresso.

works well
This product works well, but you have to adjust the grind and type of coffee to get a good shot of espresso (too fine and you don't get a full shot, too coarse and you get a weak shot). The crema is good. Takes a little of the convenience out of the ready to use pods, but well worth having as I have ran out of the pods and these are a good back-up as you can always use coffee you have Also, no plastic. The lids work well and the sticky part is only around the rim so you won't get "glue" in your coffee. It saves you $ on pods as well.

quality made but not functional
The material and the workmanship is good. The only problem I had is the quality of the coffee from the pods. It seems watered down. I don't know if it is the issue with the coffee or if the issue is how much coffee can be put in the sealpod and if it can be packed. I don't use it and went back to buying the disposable pods from Nespresso. So I kind of feel it was a waste of money.
