My Favorite Fine Felt Tip Pen
The Pilot Razor Point II is my favorite fine felt tip pen. The tip is .2mm which for me is the perfect diameter. The traditional packs of varied felt tip pen widths by Prismacolor or Staedtler usually are in odd numbers - .1mm, .3mm, .5mm, etc. The .2mm provides much more precision and allows for smaller writing than .3mm, but is sturdier and holds up better over time than .1mm.I read the other reviews and think it's important to point out once again that this is a felt tip pen. Felt tips and ballpoints write very differently. If you're heavy-handed and bear down hard on the writing surface, you're going to crush a felt tip, and would probably be better-suited to write with a ballpoint pen. Some other things to note... the pen ink is not waterproof. If your paper gets wet, the ink will run. It doesn't write well on glossy surfaces and will definitely rub off if you write on glossy paper, vinyl, or plastic. I've found that the Pilot Razor Point II performs best on acid-free sketch paper (see image attached).

My new favorite pen!
Very fine point. Ink flows easily enough that nearly no pressure is needed to write, but not so freely that it smears or smudges as much as most other comparable pens. I don’t find ink on my fingers or hands at all. It does not bleed through the paper as some similar pens, and I have used it on several types of paper with varying thickness. I have only been using it for about a week - so I’m yet not sure if it runs out of ink fairly quickly or not. So far I have not had any issue with the tip drying out like the fine point sharpies or some ball point pens when the cap is left off for a while - it doesn’t require any scribbling to get ink flowing again.

Good darn pen
This is a good darn pen. I'm a small animal veterinarian so I write a lot. I have also always been a little persnickety about my writing utensils. I tend to keep a close eye so as to prevent them from being stolen - both inadvertently and otherwise. These little dandies are no exception. The ink is bright and does not bleed on most papers. It dries quickly so you don't get those messy smears and ink stains on your hands. The barrel is comfortable to hold and feels nice to write with. Complaints? I have one. The tip will break down rather quickly with heavy use. In spite of this, they are still very usable and have a reasonable duration of use so, I still love them. Good darn pen.

decent fine point marker pen
I was using sharpie fine point markers years before these became popular as regular pens. The last batch I got was a different brand that's been discontinued, so I had to find a replacement. These are very similar, with pretty identical writing characteristics, though there are some differences I don't like. Most of these seem to have plastic cap clips, and I use a magnet in several places to hold these handy for work, so I had to find a metal clipped one. These ARE metal, but its a low carbon metal so they don't hold anywhere near as well to my magnets. The cap also requires a lot more force to pop off, it's difficult to remove OR snap back on one-handed. But I suppose those are pretty low priority features. It writes smooth and on most surfaces, which is what I need.

Gentle touch needed. Great pen
Tons of reviews already. Great deal for a pack. Less worried if I lose a pen now.Only down side is that if you press too hard, as others have also mentioned, you can push the felt tip in before the pen actually dries out. An old one had that issue. This box, currently no issues, but I've also been more aware to avoid pressing too hard. Thicker than the pilot G2, but doesn't write is "rough" as the G2.

What a great writing experience!
This was my first time trying a marker pen and I'm very satisfied. Unlike what another review states, these are indeed a box of 12 pens. I've gone through many favorite pens over the years and had finally settled on uni-ball Vision needle pens, but these how now replaced those. The writing is smooth and even. They feel good in my hand, and encourage me to use a light touch, which lessons cramping after long writing sessions. My only criticism is that I ruined two of the pens in the first couple weeks because I was pressing too hard and the tip got pressed into the body of the pen so they no longer write. Once I realized what I was doing, I've been using the third for over a month now, remembering to touch lightly, and have had no further issues. They are great for daily use and I never leave the house without one in my pocket. However, I do also carry a simple ballpoint pen for writing checks and contracts as these just don't feel right for that purpose. They would work fine I imagine--it's more a mental block than a practical reason--but they feel a little bold and perhaps childish for formal things.

Best pen ever!
This pen writes so smooth. It's dark and thin. It doesn't smudge or bleed through. I'm going to throw all my other pens away!

Writing tip doesn't last long
I was so excited to receive a box of 12 pens, but I noticed quickly that after a week or two of daily office use, the tip wears down and eventually disappears. I don't think the ink is dried up, but there is no way that I can tell where you can open it up and push the tip down. So, I'm disappointed in the quality of the tip. But, before it wears down, it is fantastic to write with. Super fine, flows nicely, doesn't bleed on all types of paper. Wish the quality was better.

and it's nice to now that it not only looks nice and ...
This pen writes so well, and it makes delicate writing look neat and professional. I use this to take notes are school (university), and to write in cards (birthday). It's so versatile, and it's nice to now that it not only looks nice and has a smooth small tip, but it'll last long cause it's like a felt tip. This is such a staple product- I highly recommend.
