SHIMANO Deore FH-M525A 32h 10-Speed 6-Bolt Disc Rear Hub Black

If you are like me, you struggle to get super high quality cones and bearings for your worn favorite bikes. Since my e-bike uses a version of this hub and after 2200 road miles left their marks on my cones, I needed but could not find replacement cones/seals/etc.Enter this hub. It had everything I needed even with a new axle and a skewer to boot for cheap. I felt kind of bad tossing the hub outer once I harvested the guts, but once my repaired rear wheel spun about 30 revolutions after the bearings were adjusted, I got over the bad feeling and started feeling great.I would have paid the $30 odd for just the cones, balls, axle and skewer alone. Going this way allowed me to replace the freewheel as well in the bargain, so I feel I am way ahead in the process!

This is an awesome wheel hub. No problems matched it up with a Dt Swiss rim.

Good material, I expected it to have better sound.

The hub was received as expected, well packaged in undamaged original box. No issues whatsoever found at initial inspection. The package contained the user manual and the skewer with its springs, as described. The wheel has not been built yet, but the hub seems perfectly fine. Also confirmed that the freebody is compatible with 9 speed cassette by test fitting a unit into it.

Siempre se puede confiar en los componontes Shimano, aunque un poco pesada a comparación de otras, este hub tiene resistencia y durabilidad.

I am building my first wheels and learning that it is not easy. Must have all the proper spoke sizes. This is a basic MTB disk hub. I did not want to spend alot of money for a top of the line hub as I might just ruin the hub or worst the rim. Will keep you posted on how it goes.

i got what i was expecting, and i'm glad that i did not get a product that states ''MADE IN CHINA''', actually this hub was made in Malaysia.
