This book is very detailed and has a lot of information and step by step guide with pictures. Definitely would recommend for beginners!

I highly regimens this book if you are interested in sculpting. She explains everything very well and the pictures help too.

Enjoyable and well presented. However her idea of dark skin was laughable. I don’t expect all characters to be black or brown, but can we have one or two? Would like to get recommendations for paint and clay colors for black and brown skin tones.

Really well illustrated. Very detailed progression pictures for building the face, hands and feet are deeply appreciated by this reader. I really liked the way the author builds the bodies and the costuming is extremely effective for such a very simple technique! This is a great book and I have no hesitation in recommending it. I am only disappointed I did not buy the full book. But I have been bitten before and didn't want the full book until I saw whether or not this cheaper shorter version was worth it.Next payday I will be buying Faemaker, with no hesitation!

It's really like her first book, teaching the some of same characters. I was hoping for different characters. I like how she writes and her techniques are wonderful.

This is a great tutorial that offers many helpful hints and tips. I especially like the idea of creating characters that aren't traditionally beautiful since faces have always been an issue for me. Now I'm not worried and can't wait to get to work creating my own household elf. I recommend this book highly. Readers may also look into purchasing her larger volume, or shorter versions.

A very informative book, plenty of clear illustrations, and well written intructions. The characters are whimsical, and just the kind of sculptures that I'm interested in. No cons that I can think of.

I highly recommend this book to the beginning sculptor. All the tools and help are here. It is easy to use.

Great Ideas

I've been dabbling in polymer clay for a few years and remember seeing a piece of work called Chrono Seidh the detail in that piece blew me away very very impressed, so when I found the very same piece was created by the author of this book I had to have a look. It has very detailed instructions on how to create these creatures, had never made a head out of polymer clay before and after getting this book did a pretty good job even if I do say so myself. Will definatly be getting the other books by this very talented lady

Fantastic! I would recommend this book to anyone interested in creating their own fae family! Witty and well written with some brilliant step by step photographs. I'm not a great seamstress and costumes have always put me off making a full doll, but this book shows that you don't have to sew to make amazing outfits. I love this book!!

Bought this kindle edition but there are no patterns included as there are in the paper edition, have contacted the author/publishers for the patterns but had no response ftom either. Save your money.
