Decent Replacement for 2011 4.0 Crew Cab
Despite Amazon’s recommendation, this product was a perfect replacement for my 2011 4.0L Crew Cab. The item was delivered to my home via a small box truck in a very large (~8ft x 2ft x 2ft) box. Upon opening, the item did have some blemishes (see images), but nothing that should hinder its performance. This is the only reason I have docked the product a star. There was a large, inventory label affixed to the muffler body that I removed prior to installation to prevent any burning/smell once heated up.In my particular case I needed to replace the resonator flange studs and nuts before the muffler assembly installation (M10x1.25 x 40.5, available from most parts stores and surely on Amazon as well). The slip-fits and resonator flange fit as expected for a relatively-trouble-free installation. The sound is similar to OE and there are no noticeable performance changes.

It does fit my 2016 CC SV Frontier - SORT OF
OEM Muffler rusted apart at manifold side - after only (82k miles?) and wasn’t covered under warranty. So while I wasn’t looking forward to climbing back under my “new to me” truck, I assessed the damage, called around for estimates- and after wanting to vomit, decided I could tackle this on my own.I’ve removed mufflers, replaced cats, etc on my old Honda Ridgeline & CR-V without issues, so it’s not not like I was wading into unfamiliar territory.Just like most people, when this was dropped on my porch, it was not in any packaging whatsoever. Keeping costs down or finding a box to ship such a odd-shaped, long object could be the reason, I suspect. And yes, it had its share of dents. But nothing broken.Removing the old one, I quickly surmised there was no way the manifold pipe, or tail pipe were coming off. Rusted and bonded by heat.If you’re planning on doing this, heed my advice and just order the other 2 pieces, new gaskets and correct clamps.Lining all the old parts up with the new, it seemed like it would be a perfect fit. Slip fitting the new one together was a bit challenging. Some of the pieces didn’t want to fit. A tailpipe expansion tool might be needed.THE ONE THING that gave me fits though is after install. On the post-muffler hanger (the middle of three if you’re looking at the entire exhaust system) the hanger was bent. Bad enough that I initially thought I had it connected it wrong or it was too short. But no. The middle hanger was definitely bent. Which meant I had to bend it back to shape with a large box end wrench. After that the rubber mount fit much better. And fixed the incessant rattle.NOW it seems like it’s working much better. Just wish Walker/Amazon would exercise a little more care and quality control.Sounds and performs mostly like OEM. Quiet. Which is what I wanted.Check your hangers and dents carefully before install. Had I known all this I might have just bought locally. But might have run into the same issues.

Out with "performance" and in with gool ole' oem style.
I installed this along with the cross tube from the 2nd bank and the tailpipe. It replaced an after-market (won't name names) performance system that was WAY too loud and WAY too free flowing. Not only did I get peace and quiet back, but low end response is so much better now. The only thing close to a negative experience was the female end going to the slip fit cross tube was bent inwards some. The smallest adapter on my Lisle expander opened it back up quick and easy. I am curious to see if my gas mileage changes any, but I haven't driven enough to tell yet.

Walker 56205 Quiet-Flow Stainless Steel Muffler Assembly
Just what I ordered. No damage. Even though it wasn't wrapped in anything. We must have better delivery people around here. Got my order way faster than I expected it. Exact match for my 2012 Nissan Frontier.

Just bad, to sum it , My 16 yr old girl could do better. She's amazing! A dented up POS! THANKS
The muffler is riddled with dents. The ends of the pipes are bent in. I can fix the mishandling of the product, but come on man!!! Really!!! My job doesn't allow this nonsense or someone dies. Yeah they die!!! They f@#%en die. My opinion is if you can't do it than don't.
