I’m sure they will apply this to all Mustad demon hooks so just make sure you understand what you’re buying. I was looking for Circle Hook for tuna and got something more suitable for freshwater. There was a reason these ones were cheaper, and that someone else had returned them.You can usually find good deals on the open packages, but there was no way to tell these were a thinner hookIf you are able to make sure they are the very thick shank model buy them

I use the size 1 and 1/0 Mustad hooks to freeline for snook, and they have been fantastic. The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my husband too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)

Great way to get perfect hook sets 99.8 percent of the time you just reel up to the fish and it is hooked no need to set the hook if u do you it will not set in its mouth it will just come out

Got what I needed quickly

I reordered the same hooks as I had before but the design has changed. I snell my own hooks and the other designed with the angled back eye made for a better hook angle in the water. Cold weather set in after these arrived so I didn’t get much chance to try them. Hopefully they will still maintain the same bite to catch ratio.

I realize that these hooks are frequently used with live or cut bait. I have been using them with soft plastics with great success. The hook up ratio has been excellent.

Bought these for drift fishing crappie. Couldn't be happier with their performance. I had very few misses and 90 percent were hooked in the corner of the mouth. This size hook is perfect for this type fish as it prevents swollowing and makes releasing them unharmed, easy.

Used size 8 for bluegill when fishing with my kids. All were hooked in lips. These hooks are the way to go.

Perfect for flounder fishing... I’m usually a gamakatsu circle/octopus hook guy but these are great! They size a little smaller than other brands and I wish the shanks were longer but an excellently designed hook with a point that stays sharp over multiple uses.
