I have a stainless steel shelf behind my traditional washing machine that I use to put my laundry soap on. Well the lid to my washer will suddenly fall while loading it because it can't open 100%. I put this magnet just behind the front edge curve of the steel shelf. The magnet is powerful enough that it hold my washing machine lid open while I load it.

I bought this to use got the Lenz Effect. This size fits well with a copper pipe purchased from Home Depot. The magnet can be dropped into the pipe and slowly falls to the other end. The is an extended example of the gravity defying effect used by the Feel Flux product. A great oddity to inspire and fascinate a child.

Not super impressed with the power.Go for a bigger diameter.It is good for magnetizing tools.

The strongest magnet we've ever owned. Worked great for our science fair demonstration. As a fridge magnet it is awesome. It is hard to pull off the fridge, you have to roll it off the side. Great magnet.

The pictures imply there are two magnets in the package. There is only one. Had they clarified in the description, I would have budgeted enough for two. Other than that, I am happy. Maybe in a couple months when budget allows.

Strongest hand held magnet I have ever seen or used. My daughter wanted to make magnetic slime and needed a magnet. After reading all the reviews on different ones I chose this one. One of the main reasons was the size. She needed one that was big enough to hold onto when playing with the slime. This magnet will pull the slime up out of the container when placed close to it.
