Quality foam pouches
These pouches are exactly what I had in mind. I used to be able to find these at my local retailer but no longer. They are large enough to cover my biggest plates and not super thin. They are just the right thickness to protect the dishes and yet not take up too much space. I even bought a second set to store another set of dishes. I personally think the pouches are better than individual sheets because the dishes can shift a little and there is no risk of exposing the edges. I am very happy with my purchase(s)!
