I purchased these for my grandsons. Based on other comments, I ordered up a size for the boys-6yrs old size 1, 7yrs old size 2 (they could always put on two pairs of socks if necessary). They fit fine & kept the boys feet warm & dry in our cold, wet west Texas winter right up until they decided to go wading up to their knees in a pond.😀
