Meet the Dullards

My kids want to read this book every day. They are 4, 6, and 9, and this is one of the only books they all agree on at story time. The Dullards are parents absolutely committed to a life of boredom, but their three children are increasingly interested in joining the circus throughout the book. From all ages funny jokes to hilarious details, this is a book your kids will read again and again and again.

The story idea is very cute, but I didn't love the story. It was, well, a bit dull. I think it is good for kids to read - the text is quite simple, and my 7 year old was able to read a lot of it. She LOVED it, so honestly, it is good in that view, but I don't think it is as cute as I had hoped. Gave 4 stars because my daughter loved it, but I would give it 3 stars and say get from the local library rather than adding to your personal library if you can.

Cute book. It didn’t become one of my sons go to books but it’s in rotation when I need to change it up.

What a great book! My 1st Grader can read most of it without assistance. She thinks it’s funny.

The cover was damaged. I would not consider this “good” condition.

My 7 year old granddaughter loved it.

I bought this book to read to my granddaughter - she is not yet three, and cant see the humour in it quite yet...I think she will enjoy it a lot once she reaches the age (five? six?) when she feels "bored". A little more life experience under her belt and she will find this one pretty funny! Some parents may not appreciate the children running off to the circus..they may think it is putting ideas in the childrens heads - so again, once the child is old enough to see the humour and be able to relate it to their own life, it ought to be a favourite. Ideal for kids with a little more life experience, age 6 - 8 maybe?

Tiene algunos puntos muy muy graciosos, le falta una buena conclusión, quizás si tuviese un final con moraleja o una sorpresa o algún tipo de conclusión... eso si, muy gracioso. Ya sólo la portada con ese "extra boring edition"...
