All of the books in this series are excellent, and "Exploring Countries: France" is no different. Because all of the books in the series are structured very similarly (i.e. in every book, information about food is found on the same page number), it makes lesson planning much simpler for the teacher and allows students to research, and compare/contrast, a variety of cultures at once.I have used these books (specifically "Egypt", "France", "Italy", "Iraq", "Mexico", and "India") for several years in my 3rd grade classroom and my students love them every year. They especially enjoy how easy it is to compare and contrast aspects of the country they are researching to those of another country being researched by a peer.I highly recommend these books to anyone who wants to share diverse cultures with children in an engaging and user-friendly format!

I couldn't find one book for my 8 year old to learn about his culture at the library! This was perfect!
