Flight or Fright: 17 Turbulent Tales

You'de think that a book with Stephen King's name on it would be stories he's written? Yes? But no. This book of short stories is written by other authors and "edited" by King and his sidekick Vincent? Really? It took two authors to say "Hey we like these stories and want them in a book and we'll make it seem like the reader is getting original stories". No Bueno! Very misleading.

A very entertaining read. Short stories like these are so much fun to read because they rarely waste time getting to the point, and often leave you with unexpected endings you never saw coming. A couple of these stories are as creative as anything you'll read.

It was okay but certainly not engaging nor in the vein of Stephen King. It is a wide ranging collection of short stories about air flight and scary situations therein. I was reluctant to read it as I'm not a particular fan of air travel. But this was so mild that I am totally unaffected and not likely to recall any of these when I am strapped in.

However, it is filled with great stories of the frights that could accompany flights. The best contribution is from King’s son, Joe Hill. All the stories were interesting.

When I purchased this I thought that it would be short stories by Stephen King. There is only one story in it from him, he edited the book.The stories were interesting for the most part. Some more than others, but I would rather have had a full Stephen King book.

So, you put Stephen King’s name on the cover of the book in big letters in the hope that it will sell. Now, all the stories in this book were written by some unknown amateur writers, and most of these stories are just bad. Apparently, Stephen King was just an editor. It is pretty much false advertisement. Like any body cares who did the editing.

I thought the marketing as a Stephen King story was deceptive. The stories are mediocre at best.

Al fin pude terminar de leer el libro y quiero decirles que es un libro pasable, muchos relatos se quedan muy flojos, aunque hay algunos buenos, trae más de 10 relatos de diferentes autores, así que no esperen un libro de Stephen king.El diseño y la portada es muy lindo, me gustó más que el de otras versiones y la letra está bastante bien, ni tan grande ni tan pequeña.
