Replaced a closet light with this one. Lights the closet extremely well. It is a pain to install however. The mounting plate isn’t big enough and should have the screw come from the plate, into the light, and use a wingnut to attach it firmly to the plate. Instead you have to hold the light up slide it around and hunt for the tiny holes with screws that aren't quite long enough. Now that it’s up it works great!

Installing this light is easier than removing your old one but...The instructions are the worst part of this product. The pictures on Amazon are more helpful but I would include the following two points:1. The Caps that keep the cover on have a two-way screw under them. Ensure they are unscrewed out enough before you try to put the cover on.2. Get better drywall anchors. I wasn't worried about the weight but I found the included ones kept pushing too far into the ceiling when trying to drive a screw. Ended up using self-drilling drywall anchors.

Great light, but a royal pain to install. You have to put the mounting screws in from underneath vs. screws first and twist the light base over. Needs two people a copious amounts of profanity to install.

Installed the light in my kitchen. Light was easy to install. It is very bright. I plan on adding a dimmer switch in the near future. The only drawback is there is no light bulbs. Just strips of LED’s. So when they go out I would imagine this light will have to be replaced. Time will tell how long it lasts. But the wife loves it so happy wife happy life.

Light was a bit of a pain for my boyfriend to put up. 1 decorative nut was attached to the light. The other 3 are missing, and not loose in the box.

This light worked great for my bedroom. The dimmable lights are very nice and it only flickers on a rare occasion (partially my fault due to getting a different brand dimmer switch than recommend. Plus it is very bright and looks very sleek on the ceiling. A good balance between looking rustic and modern. Finally, instillation went very smooth and it takes minimal time to get this light up and running.

I used for my closet to replace fluorescent. They look good, sleek and unobstructive. Easy for me to install as an engineer and I had to install a junction box. Typically, your area would have it if you already have another fixture thereWe bought the oval and the round

I purchased two LED lights and had them installed by an electrician. The first one was perfect, but the second one only lit up on one side. Amazon approved my request to return the light for a replacement, but it won't arrive for two weeks and we need it NOW. Unfortunately, I had to request to return both lights since I need to purchase some locally to have them right away.In spite of this, I do recommend them.
