Wind & Weather River Rock Stepping Stones, set of 3

These were beautiful in my garden but when I tried to move them after a year or so, the netting underneath was rotted and they pretty much fell apart!I advise putting something more supportive on the bottom!

This is a design great idea if you don't like the look of impervious slabs like slate of concrete. The grass grows through the mesh and the pebbles lend an organic look. I even use them over a patch of artificial turf in my side yard. (See photos.)However, dragging the trash bins over them twice a week has taken a toll on them. The pebbles are loosening from the at the beginning of each path. I'm assuming that's where there is the most stress on the grouping. Also, I wish the backing was either green or brown so it would blend better with the turf. Instead, it is factory white.I bought these to replace the three worst pavers, but the designer in me decided to buy my own sticky mesh and recycle the pretty pebbles instead wasting them. I'm happy to report that it worked with the addition of some Gorilla Glue. However, I am retired! If you are working or not handy these work just fine!

I bought 3 sets of these , I have a large backyard and also 2 large sized flower gardens flanking the steps up to the entry door to my house. The steps up to my house are at a steep angle, so the flower beds have are not on flat ground. These rock stepping stones' mesh backing is ideal for conforming to shape of ground they are on. Easily moveable too if you decide to place them somewhere else. I have gotten compliments on them from family members who don't usually give out compliments! The only 'bad' thing I can say about these are that they are very slippery when wet ( found that out when I watered flower gardens!); and a few of the rocks have fallen off...but that is more likely because of my lack of any care or 'maintenance' to them at all. I would recommend these to my friends.

This is my second set of these and in both cases, I didn't have any problems with loose, unglued stones. In fact, the first set of three have been in my garden for about six months and they remain well in-tact. It's definitely true that the images don't show the netting on which the stones are glued, so you may be in for a surprise when you first open the box. But it's easy to disguise the netting once you've put the stone circles on dirt ground. All I did was place them in my garden, toss some dirt over them, and then pat it around to fill in the areas where I could still see the netting. Then I sprayed the stones lightly with the hose, which compacts the dirt while cleaning off the stones. The results look great.

I used these rocks as "mulch" for my 3 miniature roses that I just planted. They are perfect! I cut a line in them with scissors and set them around the base of the rose bush. Not the best pics, but they are exactly what I want them for! As the roses grow, the rocks will not be visible, but will serve well to keep weeds down and moisture in. Love them!

This was my third order and I have never had a problem. Creating my garden is an on going project and has transformed a small “dumping” spot into a beautiful,relaxing yard with more work ahead. One more summer should complete it. Enjoy your products.

Laid in my flower bed on mulch which covers the white backing and they settle into earth and are sturdy to walk on. I really like them, added some charm without a lit of money, zero effort to put down. Received three. Can only see two pics.

these were just as pictured--good quality, good price. I didn't end up using them as I had planned but was able to put them in another spot in the garden for an accent. just a tip: be sure the underlying ground is as flat as possible if you plan to put a planter or something similar on top.

Good size and lovely cobblestones. Unfortunately they're attached to a white mesh and there are quite big spaces between the stones which the picture doesn't show. This means you can see the white bits between stones. This might not matter if you're putting them on earth, but on grass or gravel it really Looks silly. I'm going to remove the stones from the mesh and use them for decoration.

These stepping stones are quirky and pretty and light to move when cutting the grass. Very reasonable postage costs to France

Was terrible - returned it to Amazon.
