I lost my old cable and so I was using a simple micro usb cable which gave like 35mb/s but then I saw this and thought of giving it a try and Damn! was I shocked because I was getting the performance of any new 3.0 hard drive from 6 year old enclosure and a second hand Seagate drive that I got for rs.1200 for 1tb and so for just under 2k I got 1tb HDD that gives both read and write of 100-120mp/s and sometimes even more if I format my drive to NTFS and it also works great with my Ipad Air 4 just plug in the usb c and I can transfer any file from my IPAD to it at almost 100-110mb/s.

Big difference in download speed and booting games via the ssd adaptor great for games that are above 100gb and also is smooth and stable even at non stop play can handle overnight downloads cause, there I no heating up or weird buring chemical smells the ssd heats up though but it's warm not hot to the touch that you can't hold it

This is an absolute must buy, if you use macbooks or any other laptops with only type c ports.The cable is really well made and it also provides fast transfer speeds. I use this to connect my card reader & Portable HDDs to my Mac book pro. The cable provides the max. Speed the connected devices support.

Working fine till now but there is heating issue.

I bought the two cable pack a few days ago to use it on my MackBook Pro M1. It is very well made and looks very sturdy. the thunderbolt/USB C connector snaps securely. The SSD read/write speeds are also very good. I absolutely hate using dongles and thanks to this product, now i dont have to carry flimsy dongles. Great buy! Worth every single penny!

Faster boot time for Operating Systems loaded on Hard Drive.3. Tough shielding which helps in preventing the bending of wires at the connector end.4. Available in 1ft and 3.3ftCons:1. Cost is a bit high.

Purchased for a computer and laptop to utilize a brand new 4TB HDD that came with a USB 3.0 cord. This one works way better than the provided cord and is a perfect length. Out of curiosity, I tested the cord it came with versus this purchased cord. The cord that came with the HDD got about 30 mbps transfer speed, on average, transferring a large music and video library. This cord got around 80 mbps and as high as 98 mbps. Obviously there are other factors to consider but the cord really increased the transfer speed dramatically.

Does the job. Decent value for the 2 pack.
