Added channels
I’m pleased so far. I have 2 antennas going into this up on a mast about 13 feet off the ground. (Antennas are the exact same brand and I’m using the exact same length of coax cable) I’m 30 miles from one market and 50 miles from the other. I pointed both antennas at the market that’s 50 miles away. ( I didn’t have good results pointing the antennas at each different market) I was getting 30 to 40 channels at first, with this setup I’m getting 102 channels from both markets don’t get me wrong some are not great, but at least 85% of the 102 are at least 75 out a 100 on a signal scale. The picture on HD channels is spectacular. I have an old Channel Master (15 years) 1 output distribution amp that runs 3 tvs a Hd homerun Dvr and dish network is still hooked up ( not for long though lol) though a 3 way splitter where it comes into the house, and another 3 way splitter at the tv farthest away where the Dvr and dish hopper are. As far as the power inserter went I made a loop from the antenna into the nearest bedroom so I could plug the power inserter into an inside outlet and back out to go to the splitter. Ground all outside splitters, the mast and the Juice amp, (this is important) Everything is working great at this time, I can run everything at the same time and so far no issues. I’m very pleased. I can’t guarantee you will get the same results, I am by no way an expert at this by any means. Again it worked for me, this is at a rural setting. Good Luck

Great to pair up with ClearStream 4V TV Antenna
I had previously bought a cheapie antenna and didn't get all the channels I was hoping for. I went ahead and took a chance on this one (C4-V-CJM) and paired it up with their "JUICE" preamp. I also used 'Versachem 15309 Dielectric Spark Plug Boot Grease' on the coax fittings for good measure. I mounted this on the crest of my roof on a 10' mast that I bought at the local building supply. I secured it with 18" Y-mount stand-offs and a wooden boot that I made for the mast to sit on. I live in Southern New Hampshire about 50 miles north of the Boston towers. I got everything setup and powered up the preamp, turned on the TV and ran a channel scan... I cannot tell you how happy I was to pick up 49 channels, including Fox which I could not pick up with the other anntenna which was also roof mounted. I've been watching Sunday football all day and not a single hiccup, no pixelation, just a beautiful picture!A couple things probably worth noting - I am not splitting this signal and haven't even tried to yet. I'm running one line from the antenna to the preamp power supply and from there to the TV. I used tvfool.com to get the compass coordinates to the Boston transmitters and I was able to get everything right up to where the map started to go grey (after red).So far, very good! Time will tell if I get any weather interferrance, etc. Judging by the performance I've seen so far, I'm not expecting any significant signal degradation. Oh, and I did have some occassional pixelation with cable service too, so this is actually better so far. I would highly recommend this antenna and can comfirm that it is good as gold from 50 miles out with the preamp and direct (un-split) connect.

Worked great but failed after 4 weeks
This unit was much more expensive than others but I wanted to use the same brand as the antennae I bought to ensure no compatibility issues if I had to troubleshoot anything (using ClearStream 4MAX Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna). The unit worked great for about 4 weeks though it seemed to get very warm/hot to the touch up in my attic (hard to tell how much was due to high attic temp). I wasn't initially concerned though since the unit stopped working (loss of channels) after 4 weeks I am now wondering if something was wrong. The company's tech support has been great including 1 setup call (spoke to a knowledgeable US based tech support person) and then a warranty replacement. I would have given 2-3 stars but since the company's service has been excellent I am raising it to 4 stars in hopes I just got a bad unit.

Zip Ties and Dead On Arrival
My first complaint is the amp has to be installed to the antenna mast using zip ties. Even UV resistant zip ties will fail over time, especially in a sunny climate. At the price of the Juice amp it should be designed to be used with a metal bracket. I will give the Juice a one star rating just based on the zip ties alone without even considering performance.First, I do understand most installations of OTA TV are different due to location, distance, height of antenna, clear line of sight or lack of, etc. My local stations with the exception of CBS and ABC are UHF. CBS and ABC are VHF. I have no issues except ABC is on the borderline and occasionally breaks up due to a cable run of 65 feet to a powered four port distribution amp. The shortest run from the distribution amp is twenty five feet and the longest is sixty feet. A boost of 7 to 10 db would be great and should solve the ABC issue where I will be satisfied. To run a quick test, I installed the amp at twenty-five feet from the antenna well before the distribution amp with no other devices connected.. There was absolutely no change in the db as indicated by the TV’s signal meter. I know the amp was getting power because it was warm after the plugging in the power. The cable at this point was connected directly to a TV with no splitters or other devices.Ok, I know the amp should be connected as close as possible to the antenna. I removed the antenna and mast from it’s mount. I connected the amp to the antenna with a two-foot cable and reinstalled it. Still absolutely no change in the db or reception. My conclusion is the amp was shipped dead from the factory or damaged somewhere. There was no evidence the amp was a return or had been physically tempered with. I understand you have to have a signal to begin with which I do since I am watching the channels in question without an amp.Why I requested a refund rather than a replacement? All I need to is a few db increase for. To replace an amp installed on my antenna mast would require removing the mast and antenna, a LOT of work. This do to my unconventional installation (it works). With a watchable signal at twenty-five feet (this is inside the garage) from the antenna the signal should be “amplifiable” at this point. For what I need I can do better than the high price paid for this amp. At this inside location to swap a amp would only take a few minutes. If a replacement Juice would fail, guess what?

Excellent product replaced a hard to find older unit with this one based solely o reviews and it not only arrived right on time I hooked it up to existing coax cable old system used and did a auto program on the t.v. and I went from 40 channels on old system before it crapped out to just under 80 channels with the juice system ! I couldnt believe it but very pleased with performance of this product .. 5 stars all the way

Not Much Improvement
Thought this would work better than my old $30. RCA pre-amplifier, but not noticeably different in strengthening the signals of the channels I already receive.
