It was pretty while it lasted. Stopped working a couple weeks after I gifted it to my mom.

The scene inside is 3D not a flat piece of plastic. The music is a nice variety and not cheap sounding. The glitter and lighting is spectacular and mesmerizing. I highly recommend!

I got this last year for myself, and a friend of mine loved it so much I decided to get one for her birthday. It works just the way it says. Plays music and has a timer. Love it!

Yes, I know, things like this water lantern preys upon my weakness for light-up glittery, sparkly gifts of happiness. But what am I gonna do?I found a glittery swirl water lantern at Walmart earlier. (Last one on the shelf.) I watched the glittery, sparkling demo and I was reeled in hook, line and sinker. (`@ o @) ooohhh....When I got it home and lit it up... I watched it, mesmerized all night. That was when I knew my room needed balance. Yes! An excuse to buy another one!I searched all over Amazon and found several styles and themes of water lanterns. Until I finally whittled my choices down to a half dozen. The lantern I liked best, unfortunately, had some bad reviews about its quality, so I decided against it. I went with this snowmen lantern because of its good reviews, timer and music options. It seems to be pretty good quality and the price is much less than other brands, I've only had it less than a week, but it's going good almost all day and night, every day so far.It has a decent music box style sound that plays about 8 Christmas songs. After watching some product sample videos I was worried the songs would be awful and unrecognizable as the songs you're hoping to hear out of it. Most turned out to be pretty good versions, with a couple that leave you wondering where they went wrong. However, it does sound good, so don't worry too much.The music box mode is an always 'on' when you switch it to that selection, music, lights and swirling glitter. . The other selection turns the light and swirls on in timer mode. It stays on for six hours and off for 18 hours to automatically turn on at whatever time you switched it on the day before.However, I keep turning it back on when it shuts off. So it's on almost 16 or more hours a day. Gotta have my glittery sparkle swirls!×*\(^u^)/*×Now about the power. It did come with a usb power cable , but you'll need to buy an adapter to plug it into the wall. However, I bought a couple packages of rechargeable 2000 mah AA batteries that I swap in and out of it about once a day, about every 20 to 24 hours of play time per charge. I don't usually play it on music mode, just lights and swirls and I'm good. The music is fun for a few minutes or so, but...The lantern lights up a golden color, the glitter swirls slowly and sparkles with a rainbow variety of twinkles. Which then offers hours of mesmerizing trance inducing happiness.May you have a Merry Little Christmas!

The battery doesn't work at all. Put in brand new batteries but it only works by plugging it in. It is pretty though

Bought one of these for a gift last Christmas at a local shop and paid 4x the amount for the same quality. Product originally delivered with a leak, emailed customer service and they responded very quickly that they would send another out, no need to return damaged lantern. Got the new one in no time at all, works great, no leak, and it is gorgeous!! Cannot wait to decorate for the holidays now that this came.

The battery function does not work and company says they will refund 20 bucks. It was sent as a gift. That isn't good enough, we will be returning it for the full refund. It is nice to be able to set the angel on the table but you can't because it doesn't work with the batteries, only the cord. We have ordered another one and will return this one when we receive the other one and make sure it works properly.

Absolutely beautiful. The song is repetitive but it's nice to put on for awhile. Very nice glow and gorgeous Angel. Very relaxing to watch and keep on. I like that you can charge with USB or use batteries.

This product exceeded my expectations. Very sturdy and great quality. I can't stop looking at it.. it memorizes me..so sparkly. Don't hesitate on this! I can't wait to purchase another!

I would like for there to be an option to trurn off the music.

Excellent product...extremely pretty...delivery took a bit but it was well worth the wait
