Fantastic book about trauma and child development!
Absolutely amazing book that explains complex ideas, such as the impact of trauma on neurological development in the context of development, family relationship, and experiences in the world. These are complicated ideas to explain in a way that really makes sense and this book does so with eloquence and grace. As an educator, this book explains concepts in ways that all levels of higher ed can plug into--undergrad though doctoral--and come away with a deeper understanding both of the information and how to implement it in their actual behavior and practice. Very highly recommend!!!
