We put this behind the wood stove of our mountain get-away. We are on a budget, so real stone was out of the equation. This worked perfectly. Lightweight and easy to cut and install. There is concrete backer board behind it. I was concerned it would melt with the wood stove, but three years and counting with no issues. Many guests don't even realize it's like Styrofoam.

I purchased this to make a wall behind a waterfall spout on our pool. The design is okay, but the paint job is horrible. It looks cheap and ugly and needs a total repaint to look decent. The foam it is created from doesn't seem strong enough to withstand stuff hitting it, even against a solid wall, and I am worried it is going to chip. In the end, we decided not to use it as it was so ugly compared to the rest of our décor, so now it sits waiting for us to decide if there is anything we can possibly use it with. I would not purchase again and wish we had picked something of higher quality.

Great product, easy to cut and install. It came in more beige than grey. I had to spray it down and add more grey to match my home. Overall good product and would buy again.

I was disappointed to see brush marks and a what looked to me like a quick, cheap paint job on the panels. In addition, 20% of the panels came in a different color scheme or were faded compared to the rest. I would not buy again.

Easy to handle, install. Lightweight, requires good adhesive. Not as realistic as hoped, but will do nicely.

These turned out like I had hoped. It appears that some people who reviewed these seemed to think they were getting real rock or something. These are exactly as described for those who read details. I bought 32 and painted them dark gray then when dry covered them in black and wiped it off the raised surfaces to leave black in the crevices giving them depth and a more realistic appearance. Turned out amazing!UPDATE: It appears some reviewers didn’t offset the vertical seams! Looks so fake! If you start with a full panel on the first row, cut the next row starting panel at 1/3 or 1/2 so the seams in the rows aren’t vertically aligned and quite so obvious!

Last July (2023) I ordered 5 of these panels (Ekena Millwork 48 5/8"W x 24 3/4"H x 1 1/4"D Cascade Stacked Stone, StoneWall Faux Stone Siding Panel, Colfax). When they first arrived two of them were damaged. I contacted Ekena and after some back and forth they finally replaced them. The area I was working on wasn't very large, so I saved three of them to finish another area. This past weekend I took the next couple of panels out of the packaging (these were the original ones) they are a different color than what I purchased, not faded or anything like that but they are a grey color (the one on the left) the correct ones are more of a tan color. I have tried to contact Ekena, but with no reply, not a very good way to do business. If I were to do it over, I'd go with a different vendor. So, I have two different color panels, they were $67 a piece. As a paying customer I do not appreciate being ignored when there is a problem

Definitely worth the investment. This stuff transformed my living room fireplace. I wish I had a better picture to upload, but I wanted to at least add something because there aren't many photo reviews to base your purchase on. It looks great though!
